Angana P. Chatterji

Angana P. Chatterji signed an anti-Israel letter during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

The May 8, 2024 letter Angana P. Chatterji signed accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and showed support for the pro-terror campus encampments. It also endorsed elements of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of May 2025, Angana P. Chatterji was listed as a research anthropologist and founding chair in the Political Conflict, Gender and People's Rights Initiative of the Center for Race and Gender at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). UC Berkeley is located in Berkeley, California.
