Elisabeth Anker

Elisabeth Anker is a university professor who justified Hamas terrorist war crimes and participated in an anti-Israel protest in October 2023.

The incidents occurred in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Anker was affiliated with the anti-Israel campus group Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) in 2017.

Anker, who also goes by Libby Anker, is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of February 14, 2023, Anker was listed on the George Washington University (GWU) website as a professor of American studies and political science as well as director of the film studies program. GWU is located in Washington, D.C.

Also as of February 14, 2024, Anker, who also goes by Elisabeth R Anker, was listed online as having received a PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) in 2007. UC Berkeley is located in Berkeley, California.

As of the same date, Anker was also listed online as a graduate of Harvard University (Harvard) with a master’s degree in critical theory and social and educational policy in 1998. Harvard is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
