Support for Terrorists
On May 16, 2012, Mustefa published an opinion piece in the Blog section of the Express Tribune praising the hunger strike of Palestiniain prisoner Thaer Halahla. Halahla was reportedly a member of the [Palestinian] Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is a terror group “whose objective is the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of a sovereign, Islamic Palestinian state.” PIJ is backed by Iran and has killed dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings and other attacks.
Mustefa retweeted a May 14, 2017 tweet by Rebecca Pierce that said: “Today my Mama and I joined the #SaltWaterChallenge to show solidarity with 1,500 Palestinians on hunger strike in Israeli prisons #JOCSM4Pal.”
The “Saltwater Challenge” was held in solidarity with hunger-striking Palestinian prison inmates convicted of terrorism. The strike was initiated by Marwan Barghouti, who was serving five consecutive life sentences for his role in suicide bombings that killed five Israelis during the second intifada. Aarab Barghouti, the son of Marwan Barghouti, launched the "Saltwater Challenge."
On July 22, 2017, Mustefa tweeted: “Brilliant article by @StanleyCohenLaw: Palestinians have a legal right to armed struggle.” She attached an article authored by Hamas-sympathizer Stanley l. Cohen titled “Palestinians have a legal right to armed struggle.”
In the article, Cohen celebrated the terrorists who murdered two Israeli police officers on July 14, 2017, outside the entrance to the Al Aqsa mosque, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. He referred to the terrorists as “three young men, cousins, who willingly sacrificed their lives in the attack on the two” as “a personal statement of national pride.”
Cohen added: “I applaud those who dare to struggle, dare to win - by any means necessary,” including “the right to armed struggle.” He labeled Israel an “evil occupation that bears no legitimacy whatsoever.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel
On January 21, 2018, Mustefa referred to New Zealand pop-star Lorde’s cancellation of her performance in Israel, tweeting: “So a bunch of Israeli teens are suing an artist who took a stand against apartheid. Can't make this s**t up.”On December 26, 2017, Mustefa tweeted “F**king hell. They even colonise Palestinian food.” She attached a tweet listing Israeli dishes for a “Holiday Feast Highlights - Israeli nite.”
On December 18, 2017, Mustefa tweeted: “Love it when the Israeli army tries to splain about Palestinian women's rights, yet kills and oppresses them at the same time.” She attached to her tweet a graphic that was originally tweeted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) illustrating Hamas’s oppression of women in Gaza.
On December 6, 2017, Mustefa tweeted: “Today, our hearts are bleeding for Palestine. Donald Trump has made sure of that by recognising Jerusalem as the capital of apartheid Israel.”
On May 15, 2017, Mustefa tweeted: “#NakbaDay marks 69 years of Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestine.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
On January 18, 2017, Mustefa tweeted “Asides discrimination against Palestinians, anti-Blackness in Israeli society is rife. Racism towards African migrants is the norm in Israel.”
On June 13, 2012, she spread anti-Israel propaganda in an opinion piece she wrote for the Blog section of the Express Tribune, titled “Why Israel and Pakistan can never be allies.”
Mustefa’s article, which argued against peace between Israel and Pakistan, featured a fabricated quote falsely attributed to Israel’s First Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. The quote called on Zionists to “strike and crush Pakistanis, enemies of Jews and Zionism, by all disguised and secret plans.”
The fabricated quote also claimed that Ben Gurion said: “Pakistan, the whole of it, hates the Jews and loves the Arabs...it is most essential for the world Zionism that it should now take immediate steps against Pakistan.”
In her article, Mustefa also wrote that Israel “uses sophisticated lobbying from institutions such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) to portray Palestine as the aggressor.” She then accused Israel of “apartheid” and “ethnic cleansing.”
The stated mission of AIPAC is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
