Yipeng Ge
Yipeng Ge is a physician who expressed support for Hamas terrorism, spread anti-Semitism, called for Israel's destruction and promoted hatred of Canada. He has also engaged in anti-Israel activism.
Ge is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Ge's social media posts and activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, called “Swords of Iron.” Israel launched the war after a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. The terror attacks left approximately 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded.
In November 2023, one month after Hamas's October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks on Israel, the Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) Foundation reported that Ge was "suspended from his medical residency at the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) for pro-Palestinian social media..." which were deemed antisemitic, "after the administration received complaints regarding a suspected breach of professional norms by a medical resident."
As of January 2025, Ge's LinkedIn profile said he had been working as an on-call family practice physician" at the Petawawa Centennial Family Health Centre, located in Petawawa, Canada, since August 2023. Ge's LinkedIn said he was simultaneously working as an on-call family medicine physician (locum) at the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, located in Ottawa, Canada, since August 2023.
On October 30, 2024, during a Canadian House of Commons committee hearing, Ge testified [00:00:10] that he was a "family doctor currently practicing in primary care and refugee health in Ottawa."
Ge's LinkedIn indicated that he graduated with a degree in public health and preventive medicine (including family medicine) from the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) Residency Training Program in 2024. Ge's Linkedin profile said he received a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Ottawa in 2020.
Also as of January 2025, Ge's LinkedIn said he was located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
On September 9, 2024, Ge posted on Instagram: "🔻resistance is the deepest form of love." Included in the post was a graphic that read: "🔻...Existence through resistance. Resistance teaches us life and love. Love for one another, and love for life."
The inverted red triangle is a symbol showing support for Hamas and Palestinian terrorism. It first appeared in propaganda videos produced by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, during its terror attacks of October 7, 2023. The symbol was used by Hamas to signify one of their Israeli targets.
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence.
Ge expressed support for Hamas terrorism in a 2024 Instagram post, according to a tip submitted to Canary Mission in October 2024. The post Ge shared featured a cartoon drawing of three figures in paragliders with Palestinian flags attached, shown descending over homes flying Israeli flags.
The graphic included Israeli soldiers and a tank shown at the security border between Israel and Gaza bypassed by the Hamas terrorists who paraglided into Israel on October 7, 2023, and killed approximately 1,200 Israelis in Israeli communities and at the Nova Music Festival.
In the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack on Israel, numerous terrorists infiltrated into Israel in motorized paragliders. Hamas terrorists descended in gliders on the Nova Music Festival, where they slaughtered over 360 unarmed young men and women. In the wake of the atrocities, images of Hamas militants on paragliders served to symbolize and glorify the deadly attacks.
The graphic's caption read: “❗️REMEMBER. 365 DAYS LATER: OCTOBER 7TH WAS NATIVES BREAKING FREE. WHAT FOLLOWED WAS SETTLERS UNLEASHING GENOCIDE SO THE NATIVES WOULD NEVER TRY TO BREAK FREE, EVER AGAIN."
On October 1, 2024, Ge posted on Instagram: "Free all indigenous peoples from genocidal colonial violence in all of its forms. Power to the Indigenous resistance in all of its forms...Land back. Land back. Land back."
Included in the post was a photo showing Ge at a demonstration, wearing a keffiyeh and dressed in a T-shirt with the legend: "PALESTINE WILL WIN" holding a sign that read: "...LONG LIVE RESISTANCE TO COLONIAL OPPRESSION." The sign included an inverted red triangle combined with a fist making the "v" for victory sign (✌️🔻).
On October 7, 2024, the one-year anniversary of Hamas's October 7, 2023, terror attacks on Israel, Ge posted [slide 16] on Instagram a photo of Hamas terrorists in a large bulldozer as they broke through [photo 9] Israel's security fence bordering Gaza. Ge wrote: "Palestine, you will be free, in our lifetimes."
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, approximately 2,900 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.
Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.” As of November 10, 2023, approximately 1,200 Israelis, the vast majority of them civilians, were murdered during the attacks. Hamas kidnapped 242 Israelis, including at least 30 children. At least 3,500 people were wounded, many severely.
A terrorist detained by Israel admitted he raped an Israeli woman when he broke into a kibbutz house during the October 7, 2023 attack. In March 2024, a former hostage of Hamas publicly stated she was sexually abused and tortured while in captivity.

On Juy 13, 2024, Ge shared on Instagram an image that compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then-U.S. President Joe Biden with Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and dictator of fascist Italy Benito Mussolini. Ge was a collaborator on the post.
The graphic promoted a July 24, 2024, anti-Israel protest to be held on the day Netanyahu was scheduled to address a joint session of the U.S. Congress, titled: "OPPOSE GENOCIDE AND IMPERIALIST WAR! DEMONSTRATE IN D.C.!" Below the photo of the four politicians, a caption read: "THE ARCHITECTS OF GENOCIDE."
On December 27, 2024, during Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, Ge posted on Bluesky: "...Zionism must be abolished and abandoned..."
Also on December 27, 2024, Ge posted on Bluesky: "Israel is a genocidal colonial state power funded and armed by other Western genocidal colonial state powers who have aligning interests of capitalism and colonialism. This is the machinery that life and humanity is up against. The only path forward is to abolish and abandon these ideologies."
On November 29, 2024, Ge posted on X: "We will see, within our lifetimes, Palestinians living free, and with their right of return honoured and fulfilled."
The “right of return” is a Palestinian demand discredited as a means to eliminate Israel.
On November 16, 2024, Ge posted on X: "...Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea."
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
On January 8, 2025, Ge posted on X: "Canada as a settler colonial state and member of the imperial West supports Israel because of its shared interests in colonialism, imperialism, and capitalism. These systems of oppression must be abolished and left behind..."
Included in the post was a link to an Instagram "Resource slidedeck" titled: "Understanding the roots of Canadian complicity."
On November 29, 2024, Ge shared on X a video in which he gave a speech celebrating the "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People."
During his speech, Ge said [00:00:33]: "I learned from Indigenous communities that resistance to colonial violence and erasure takes many forms. Resistance in Palestine by Palestinians against genocidal colonial violence and erasure also takes many forms."
On December 10, 2024, Ge shared on X a video in which he gave a speech as a member of "Ottawa Healthcare Professionals for Palestine."
During his speech, Ge said [00:00:10]: "On the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of Genocide, we, the health care professionals of Ottawa, stand united in solemn reflection and unwavering solidarity with the victims of genocide across the globe."
Ge later said [00:00:51]: "Solidarity begins with recognizing the lands we occupy and extends to supporting all who resist colonialism, systemic violence and displacement from Turtle Island [North and Central America] to Palestine..."
On January 6, 2025, Ge posted on X: "Healthcare workers all over the world are #SickFromGenocide. We are made sick by a society and world that has allowed for genocide to happen right before our eyes...#EndTheGenocide."
Included in the post was a video in which Ge, wearing a keffiyeh, spoke at the anti-Israel protest. Ge said [00:00:01]: "Healthcare workers around the world called in sick today because we are sick from genocide...institutions in medicine have been propped up and are at their foundation genocidal because of colonialism, white supremacy, Zionism, patriarchy, capitalism."
As of January 2025, Ge's Linktr.ee page contained a link titled: "In solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon: A call from Dr. Yipeng."
The link showed that Ge organized a fundraiser on behalf of Islamic Relief Canada "to support their emergency relief efforts in Gaza and Lebanon."
Islamic Relief, also known as Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), was declared illegal by Israel for funneling donations to terror group Hamas. In 2019, the German government found “extensive ties” between IRW and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). In 2020, IRW’s CEO Tayeb Abdoun resigned after he was exposed as having promoted the 2015-2016 “Knife Intifada.”
