Overview
Yara Elhindi [Yara Elbakri] has spread anti-Semitism and anti-Jewish conspiracy theories. Elhindi has also equated Israel with Nazi Germany and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.As of March 2020, Elhindi’s Facebook page said she “Manages” the Facebook page of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Elhindi was listed as a Team Member on SJP UCSD’s Facebook About page.
As of the same date, Elhindi’s LinkedIn page said she was a Program Manager at SUPPORT LIFE FOUNDATION, from “Jan 2019 - Present.” She was also a Behavioral Therapist at Trumpet Behavioral Health from “Mar 2019 - Jan 2020.”
Also as of the same date, Elhindi was listed on npidb.org as an active Behavior Technician in San Diego, CA. Elhindi’s profile page said she “is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and/or credentialed by a state (such as through licensure).”
Elhindi’s LinkedIn page also said that she was a Project Coordinator at Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego, from “Jan 2019 - Jul 2019,” and volunteered as a Maternity Volunteer at Stanford Children's Health I Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, from “Jul 2015 - Dec 2017.”
Elhindi also wrote on her LinkedIn page that she graduated from UCSD in 2019, with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychology and Human Development and studied for an Associates degree in “Mathematics and science” at Cañada College from “2015 - 2017.”
In 2013, Elhindi’s Facebook page said she “Started School” at the College of San Mateo (CSM).
As of March 2020, Elhindi went by the name “Yara Elbakri” on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Also as of March 2020, Elhindi used the alias “Yarezzzy” on Twitter and went by “yareezzyy” on Instagram.
Anti-Semitism
On October 2, 2016, Elhindi tweeted: “The only time my dad doesn't hate when I cuss is when it's about the yahood [Jews].”On March 11, 2016, Elhindi tweeted: “YI5RIB BEYT IL YAHOOD. [May Allah destroy the homes of Jews].”
On November 2, 2015, Elhindi tweeted: “THE TWO PEOPLE I CANT STAND IN THIS CLASS JUST HAPPEN TO BE JEWS WHAT IS THIS.”
On July 23, 2015, Elhindi tweeted: “YIL 3AN ABO ILL YAHOOD [May Allah curse the Jews].”
Also on July 23, 2015, Elhindi tweeted: “I was raised chanting ‘FALASTEEN BLADNA WAL YAHOOD KLABNA’ [Palestine is our land and the Jews are our dogs]”

In an August 11, 2014 Twitter conversation with Bayan Mia, who tweeted: “@yaraelhindi that's true bes I think it would be fine, or inshAllah by then it would be. I can't stand seeing yahood [Jews] though.”
Elhindi replied: “tbh seeing them there is kinda funny. Like they just don't fit in! It's such a middle eastern country then u see a bunch of...curly haired yamaka [yarmulke] f**ks.”
On July 14, 2014, Elhindi tweeted: “You're f**king worthless pieces of s**t. F**king scum of the earth. You belong in hell. The lowest of all lows. F**k you ya yahood [Jew].”

Anti-Jewish Conspiracy Theories
In a May 27, 2016 Youtube video, Elhindi said [00:08:06]: “AIPAC [The American Israel Public Affairs Committee] is a Jewish organization that pretty much runs all of our politics.”The stated mission of AIPAC is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
On July 5, 2014, Elhindi tweeted: “Israel controls the global media and that's basically the only reason you guys think Palestinians are terrorists.”
Equating Israel with Nazi Germany
On July 7, 2015, Elhindi tweeted: “Is it bad to say that I'm sick of reading nazi Germany books? How are the Jews going to keep complaining if they're doing the same to us?”On July 14, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Elhindi tweeted: “@cRaMpSsMaCkS @loona_moona @Wbc_Muriel your country is recreating the holocaust but now the Germans are Israel and the Jews are Palestine.”
Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
Spreading Hatred of Israel
On July 28, 2017, Elhindi wrote on Facebook: “I don't understand why this isn't getting any media coverage?? It's a literal massacre!” The post linked to a video of Israeli police throwing stun grenades trying to disperse Palestinians clashing with police at the Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.Two weeks earlier, Palestinian terrorists murdered two Israeli police officers on July 14, 2017, outside the entrance to the Al Aqsa mosque. Israel responded by installing metal detectors and security checks at the entrance to the holy site.
The terrorists reportedly feared that “Al Aqsa is in danger,” which has long been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the State of Israel’s existence. Following rioting and further violence, the Israeli government removed the metal detectors on July 25, 2017.

On October 12, 2015, Elhindi tweeted: “Yil 3an il yahood [May Allah curse the Jews] I'm ready to scream my a** off at the protest this Thursday.”
The tweet linked to a video of 13-year old Ahmad Manasra, lying wounded on the street.
Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. They critically wounded a 13-year-old boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. The spree ended when police shot Hassan and a passing motorist hit Ahmed. Ahmed was taken to an Israeli hospital. He admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews.” He was later tried and convicted on two counts of attempted murder.
On July 14, 2014, Elhindi tweeted: “@KroegLeslie f**king Zionist burn in hell.”
On July 6, 2014, Elhindi tweeted: “I don't get it? Are the Jews trying to get some sort of revenge on Germany? I think they got the wrong country?”
SJP Activism
On May 9, 2018, Elhindi wrote on Facebook: “The Muslim Student Association and Students for Justice in Palestine would like to invite you to our annual Justice in Palestine Week!”Elhindi continued: “2018 marks 70 years of occupation, oppression, and attempted obliteration of Palestinians and their identity.”
Elhindi added that during the week “we will also display UCSD's very own mock Apartheid Wall for the second year in a row. We hope that you will also join us at our nightly events where we will be hosting influential Palestinian activists.”
The post linked to a Facebook page promoting the week's events, including a speech featuring Hatem Bazian, titled: “Palestine, ‘...it is something colonial.’”Hatem Bazian is the founder of the anti-Israel organizations Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP). Bazian has a decades-long history of incitement and of using classic anti-Semitic tropes to demonize Israel.
Another event listed on the flier, featured Taher Herzallah, the Associate Director of Outreach & Grassroots Organizing of AMP. Herzallah has expressed support for violence against Israeli Jews, was arrested twice for anti-Israel disruptions and spread an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
