Walid Khass

Walid Khass [Walid Mohamed Khass] is a physician who physically attacked an Israeli and called for the death of Jews and Israelis.

Khass has also shown support for Hamas, including a desire to join the terror group. He has also spread anti-Semitism and expressed a violent hatred of Israelis, Zionists and Israel on social media.

In January 2017, Khass was a member of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at St. George’s University (SGU) Facebook group. 

As of October 2024, Khass was registered with The American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics, certificate number 139552, certified in 2023.

Also as of October 2024, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) listed Khass as licensed to practice medicine by the State of New York, license number 324580, issued on June 29, 2023.

Khass reportedly graduated from SGU School of Medicine in June 2019 and was anticipating employment beginning July 2019 as a Pediatric Resident at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (NYP Brooklyn), where he had been “matched’ via the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). 

SGU reportedly placed Khass on involuntary administrative leave and pulled him from clinical rotations after anti-Semitic social media posts by Khass, spanning five years, went viral in 2019.

Following the SGU action, NYP Brooklyn reportedly tried to dismiss Walid Khass from his position as a pediatric resident. 

On July 31, 2019, Khass filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County, against NYP Brooklyn and SGU School of Medicine, claiming breach of contract and referring to the “exercise of his right of freedom of speech,” demanding that NYP “immediately allow” him to begin his Pediatric Residency there.

Khass also demanded damages in excess of $630,000 as well as triple damages, plus costs of suit and interest from July 2019. 

The Supreme Court ordered NYP to accept Khass and NYP then appealed the court’s decision.

On February 15, 2023, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York reversed the decision of the lower court, noting that Khass failed to exhaust his administrative remedies before turning to the courts. The ruling also noted that Khass was required to have turned to New York’s Public Health and Heath Planning Council (PHHPC), before suing NYP in court.

As of March 2023, Khass remained listed on the National Provider Identifier lookup as a “Student in an Organized Health Care Education/Training Program” in Brooklyn, NY. Khass’s National Provider Identifier (NPI) number was listed as 1588289318 and his primary taxonomy code was 390200000X (Student-HealthCare). His provider practice location was listed as in Brooklyn, NY.

As of October 2024, Khass was reportedly listed as a resident physician at NYP Brooklyn.

As of March 2023, publicly available online sources indicated Khass was located in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, New York.

Physically Attacking an Israeli

On August 3, 2014, Khass posted on Instagram after he participated in an anti-Israel protest: “...We Stopped Traffic, Ran Through Fences, KICKED OUT ISRAELIS , Beat Up An Israeli Who Got In The Middle Of The Crowd, F**k Outta Here Nigga, Got Cars Honkin Support With Us, Palestinian Chants And Flags Everywhere, BEST PROTEST EVER!!!” 

Khass also wrote: “When We Got in Front Of The White House, 5 Israelis Were Cornered In Between Cops & Fences & I F**kin Cursed The S**t Out Of Them And People.”

Calling for the Death of Jews and Israelis

On December 6, 2014, Khass tweeted to another user: “...no it means yekta3 el yahood [Kill the Jews] YASSSSS” in response to a tweet that asked: “doesn't smh mean ‘shake my hand’? 

On May 28, 2015, Khass tweeted: “*Sends Mosquitos To Israel,” in response to a tweet which read: “Mosquitoes have killed more humans than all the wars in history.”

On May 28, 2015, Khass tweeted: “I Like To Stroll Through Israeli Neighborhoods Blastin The HAMAS Song .”


On May 26, 2015, Khass tweeted: “HAMAS WILL F**CKIN WHIP YOUR F**KIN A**ES ISRAEL LIKE LAST TIME, DONT F**K WITH US, GAZA WILL F**K YALL UP.”

On November 19, 2014, the day after a terrorist attack, Khass tweeted: “... RT [retweet] for Hamas, fav for PFLP’ QT for all resistance’ .” 


On August 12, 2014, Khass tweeted: “does u support hamas — 10000000 %...” 

On August 2, 2014, Khass tweeted referring to a rally: “So Many People Were Wearing HAMAS Logo And Chanting, Ya Allah [Oh My God], It Was Amazing.”

On August 1, 2014, Khass tweeted: “F**K EVERYBODY WHO DONT SUPPORT HAMAS.”

On the same thread, a Twitter user replied to Khass’s tweet: “...yea let’s blame them lol” to which Khass responded: “.”

On November 21, 2012, during Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defence (OPD), Khass tweeted: “...Gaza CeaseFire !! ya Habibi Falasteen!!!! Tfu alakom Ya yahood Eklab! Habibti[My beloved Palestine!! Spit on you, Jew dogs! My beloved] #Gaza !”

Israel launched OPD to stop Hamas rocket attacks on Israeli civilians from Gaza. Over the course of eight days in November 2012, Palestinian terrorist groups fired more than 1,500 rockets at Israel. The majority struck Israel, damaging homes, schools and other civilian areas. Human Rights Watch noted: “Palestinian armed groups made clear in their statements that harming civilians was their aim.”

Violent Hatred of Israelis and Zionists

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.

On August 13, 2014, Khass tweeted: “These 108 American Jews Who Came To Support ISRAEL Are Gonna Get F**KED .”

On October 19, 2014, Khass tweeted: “ISRAELIS ARE F**KIN P**SYS.”

In the fall of 2014, Palestinian leaders and media incited a wave of violence against Israelis with the lie that Israel intended to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. This resulted in the November 18, 2014 Har Nof massacre, in which terrorists murdered six people in a Jerusalem synagogue during morning prayers.

Hatred of Israel

On October 22, 2014, Khass tweeted: “Israel Is Still The Better Terrorists Than ISIS And The Rest.”

On November 13, 2014, Khass tweeted: “...ISRAEL CAN SUCK EVERY PALESTINIANS A** AND EAT KHARA [S**T] ALL DAY.” He also tweeted: “... wait till it's the other way around, ISRAEL will eat s**t like sick a** niggas who eat a**.”

On December 1, 2014, Khass tweeted: “From The River To The Sea. Israel Will Khosh Eb Teeze. [Israel will F**k off] And Palestine Will Be Free.”

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.

MSA

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) was  established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations." 

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
