Vidhi Dev led chants at an anti-Israel event in Los Angeles, California in March 2024 as an activist with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL).
PSL is a self-identified American Marxist group that aims “to abolish the corrupt, rotten…capitalist…system, and replace it with…a socialist system.” PSL believes “revolution” is both “a necessity and a right” and the only means to “do away with the rule of the capitalists once and for all.”
As of August 2026, Vidhi Dev's LinkedIn said she was a full-time community organizer at South Asian Network (SAN), located in Los Angeles, California.

At the march, protesters repeatedly participated in chants calling for Israel's destruction, including [00:00:50]: "Free, free Palestine!"
“Free Palestine!” is a chant used to call for Israel's destruction, acting as a shorter version of "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!" It was shouted during multiple deadly attacks on pro-Israel activists in 2025 in America. It has been used to vandalize synagogues and other Jewish-owned property, and is described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.”
They later joined in the Arabic chant [00:01:49]: "Min el mayeh lil mayeh, Falastin Arabiyeh [From the water to the water, Palestine is Arab]!" This is the Arabic version of the chant: "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free," which they also chanted [00:02:50].
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” is a chant used to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
