Sonny Oram participated in an anti-Israel event at Harvard University in 2024 in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of July 2025, Sonny Oram’s LinkedIn profile said Sonny Oram was the founder and co-owner of Qwear Fashion, since 2011.
On May 20, 2025, Oram posted a video on TikTok accusing [00:00:38] Israel of genocide and carrying out a "holocaust" against the Palestinians of Gaza. Oram concluded the video by saying [00:01:51]: "...free Palestine now."
Anti-Israel activists compare Israel to Nazi Germany to insinuate that the plight of Palestinians has eclipsed Jewish suffering during the Holocaust.
“Free Palestine” is a chant that has been described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.” In May 2025, two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C., were murdered by a gunman shouting “Free Palestine!” In June 2025, one pro-Israel activist was killed and over 25 were injured in Boulder, Colorado, when a man yelling “Free Palestine” firebombed them.
