Overview
Sherine Abu-Omarah has spread hatred of Israel and supported an anti-Israel agitator on social media.On March 3, 2015, Abu-Omarah tweeted: “I'm laughing so hard, it's a bunch of white people telling you that Israel is right! Allah yil3an Al yahood [May Allah curse the Jews].”
As of November 2017, Abu-Omarah’s Twitter feed indicated she was a student at Wayne State University (WSU). She graduated from high school in 2014.
Hatred of Israel
On January 27, 2015, Abu-Omarah tweeted: “How ironic I'm the only palestinan in this whole class, and my proffeser decides to skype a yahoodi [Jew] and all there taking about is ‘Israel.’”On November 17, 2015, Abu-Omarah shared a Facebook post comparing Israel to the biblical Pharaoh and alleged that Israel has “the belief that kids are ‘potential terrorists’ and should be killed.”
On May 8, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet that mourned the death of Fatmah Hjaiji, who was shot after attempting to stab Israeli soldiers.

On July 14, 2017, Arab terrorists murdered two Israeli police officers outside the entrance to the Al Aqsa mosque on Temple mount in Jerusalem. The perpetrators were Israeli Arab citizens from Umm el-Fahm, who reportedly feared that “Al Aqsa in danger” — the slogan of the banned northern branch of the Islamic Movement that ran the UMM el-Fahm municipality.
The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state.

On September 14, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet featuring photos of Colombian Communist protesters condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Two pictures featured a “Wanted” poster with a Nazi swastika inside a Jewish Star of David, beside a likeness of Netanyahu.
On December 6, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet that said: “Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. (and if your white-Zionist-settler-colonialism-apologist self disagrees: feel free to unfollow).”
On December 8, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet that said: “the capital of Israel is jahanam [hell].”
On December 21, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet from the Hamas terror organization’s English Twitter account, which said: “#Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine. Israeli occupation is for an end.”

The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state.
Israel responded by placing metal detectors and security checks before allowing worshippers to the holy site, similar to other holy sites in Jerusalem.
Palestinian factions reacted by spreading incitement that resulted in further violence. Fatah threatened “Rage for the Al-Aqsa Mosque!” On July 21, 2017, Omar al-Abed, 19, broke into a Jewish family's home in Halamish and stabbed three family members to death while they were having a Sabbath meal. Before embarking, al-Abed wrote on Facebook: “Take up your weapon and resist, declare war for Allah...I have only a knife, and it will respond to Al-Aqsa's cry...The sons of monkeys and pigs do not open the gates of Al-Aqsa. I hope that men will come after me to strike me with an iron hand...We are all one, we have one blood, one enemy and one Al-Aqsa.”

Supporting Ahed Tamimi
On December 21, 2017, Abu-Omarah retweeted a tweet supporting anti-Israel agitator Ahed Tamimi.Ahed Tamimi has a long history of physically attacking Israeli soldiers. Tamimi is the daughter of Bassem Tamimi, who is known for exploiting young children as political props in staged confrontations with Israeli soldiers.
