Shahema Abdelhady [Shahema M. Abdelhady] has spread anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel on Twitter. 

Abdelhady is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of May 2021, Abdelhady’s LinkedIn page said she was a “Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate” at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences from “2020 - 2024” and studied Biochemistry at Seton Hall University from “2016 - 2019.”

Also as of May 2021, Abdelhady’s resume attached to her LinkedIn page said she received a “COVID-19 Contact Tracing Certification” from Johns Hopkins University (John Hopkins).

Abdelhady’s LinkedIn page also said she was located in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

As of May 2021, Abdelhady used the alias princessshaayy on Twitter.

Abdelhady also promoted anti-Semitism, made homophobic comments and spread hatred of Israel during high school.

Anti-Semitism

On January 12, 2017, Abdelhady tweeted: “@y_matayev1994 @nickuri the PALESTINIANS were the ones to take in the Jews after the holocaust and look what we gone in return.. a holocaust.” 

On August 21, 2016, Abdelhady tweeted: “Can't compare @netanyahu to anyone except Hitler himself. Digusting murderer. Shame on you for all the innocent lives you've taken ya sakit.”

On May 5, 2016, Abdelhady tweeted: “How about all the Palestinians you put through they're own holocaust??? You would think you would learn from history.”

On May 5, 2016, Abdelhady also tweeted a fabricatedquote, attributed to Albert Einstein, that read: “‘It would be my greatest sadness to see Zionists do to Palestinian Arabs much of what Nazis did to Jews.’ -Einstein.”


On February 1, 2015, Abdelhady tweeted: “I know absolutely nothing about football or what teams my fav lmaoo but over my dead body will a Jew score.”

Also on February 1, 2015, Abdelhady tweeted: “If this Jew scores, I'll literally set my tv on fire.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On January 12, 2017, Abdelhady tweeted: “@y_matayev1994 @nickuri also I will never acknowledge a state that commits some heinous and sickening acts like Israel has.”

On March 27, 2016, Abdelhady tweeted: “It's all Israel's fault... Whatever it is...... It's Israel's fault.”

On October 27, 2015, Abdelhady tweeted: “@LNT3_ what you don't understand is we are ourselves hate zionists.”

On the same day, Abdelhady tweeted: “@LNT3_ and that's in Gaza alone, let's not start with what's happening in the West Bank. Israel is a terrorist state.”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.

On October 27, 2015, Abdelhady also tweeted: “@LNT3_ Freedom should never be at the cost of innocent people's lives. Israel isn't fighting for freedom, they are committing a genocide.”

On October 12, 2015, Abdelhady tweeted: “You guys worry so much about police brutality in America... LOOK AT WHAT ISRAEL IS DOING TO PALESTINIANS THIS IS A GENOCIDE.”

On September 23, 2015, Abdelhady tweeted: “I CANT STAND DISCRIMINATION LIKE WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT WE ARE ALL BORN EQUAL, except zionists they're filthy pigs.”

BDS Support 

On June 7, 2016, Abdelhady tweeted: “‘If you boycott Israel, New York will boycott you’??? YOU IGNORANT PIECE OF S**T STFU KHARA FE THIMAK [SPIT ON YOU S**T].”

Abdelhady’s tweet included another tweet by New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, that read: “I am signing an Executive Order that says very clearly we are against the BDS movement. If you boycott Israel, New York will boycott you.”

In June 2016, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo signed executive order no. 157 that prohibited public funds from supporting BDS campaigns against Israel.

On July 6, 2016, Abdelhady tweeted: “Oh yeah but what happened to if you boycott Israel New York will boycott you, f**k out of here you fake.” 

Abdulhady’s tweet included another tweet by Andrew Cuomo, that read: “Wishing all New Yorkers who celebrate a blessed and peaceful Eid-al-Fir…”

High School - Anti-Semitism

On August 1, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “Only Jews would be so cheap to give you a plastic spoon #wtf.”

August 1, 2014, Abdelhady also tweeted: “How Jewish of you #3dollarsale.”

On October 2, 2013, Abdelhady tweeted: “Wtf my bangs look like Jew curls.”

On June 26, 2013, Abdelhady tweeted: “@ArlindBilali you're a yahudi [Jew]!!!”

On March 26, 2013, Abdelhady tweeted: “@hamdahsalhut @sashavonshats lmao well that's very strange.. YAHOUDI [Jew].”

On November 25, 2012, Abdelhady tweeted: “even though the Rothschild family is Jewish and literally runs the financial empire in Europe are apart of the illuminati.”

Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”
On April 25, 2012, Abdelhady tweeted: “‘@Arabprobs: #YouKnowYoureArabWhen you blame everything on the Yahood [Jews] no matter whose fault it is’ @ZigZag_Zee.”

High School - Homophobic Comments 

On May 9, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “@damjan_djuric no one cares about your face fag boy.”

On February 15, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “@salem_farah fag kill yourself.”

On June 13, 2012, Abdelhady tweeted: “‘@Jordan_Gil: didn't know we got under cover gay niggas in our school smh” LMFAAAAAAAAAO. we do, many of them…”

On May 7, 2012, Abdelhady tweeted: “@DrizzyParrax7 @ykozi1 You guys are deff talking about mr.barilia that fag kicked me out cause I was coughing. and bleeding from my throat.”

On August 7, 2011, Abdelhady tweeted: “@lameeseSalem babeeey your life WIILLLL get better <3 I promise you amazing person :* forget gay people. There stupid.”

High School - Hatred of Israel

On November 19, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “WHAT ABSOLUTELY SICKENS ME IS THAT WE GAVE THE ISREALIS A PLACE AFTER THE HOLOCAUST AND THEY CONTINUE HISTORY AND PUT US THROUGH OUR OWN?!”

On August 5, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “My last retweet literally kills me, like you stupid isreali Zionist f**king pig @karinedri get educated you brain washed pyscho, rot in hell.”

On August 5, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “Disgusts me how WE gave you f**kers a home, we let you in when no one else did then you make your own holocaust on us??? Disgusting.”

Also on August 5, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted a cartoon purporting to depict the history of Zionism, and claimed that the Palestinian Arabs tried to save the Jews from the Holocaust by offering them a temporary safe haven in Palestine. 

The claim that Palestinians saved Holocaust survivors was denounced by politicians and described by leading historian Benny Morris as “completely ignorant” or a lie. 

Rather the British issued a “White Paper,” that severely limited Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine between 1939 and 1945, in response to Arab opposition to and riotsagainst Jewish immigration.

On July 20, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “@sammyzzee @salem_farah @DannyDaddon so Israel didn't start this by taking our land and killing our people??? We are living the holocaust.”

On July 12, 2014, Abdelhady tweeted: “I will never understand how isrealis can does this to the Palestinians going through the holocaust. You f**king piece of s**ts.”

On April 6, 2013, Abdelhady tweeted: “‘@trutherbot: Keep Calm And Wipe Israel Off The Face of the Internet. #OpIsrael’ word I want my land back #PALESTINE.”

On January 7, 2013, Abdelhady tweeted: “RT ‘@xshathax: @shahemaisfly I blame Israel for my car not starting this morning el oh el’ LMFAOOOO made my day.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true. 

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”  

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
