Sarah Syed participated in two anti-Israel events at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in May 2024, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists.
As of July 2025, Sarah Syed's LinkedIn profile said she was an "Incoming PhD Student @ Harvard-MIT HST [Health Sciences and Technology] MEMP [Medical Engineering and Medical Physics]."
As of the same date, Sarah Syed's LinkedIn also said she studied biological engineering at MIT from 2020 to 2024.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
