Samantha Jaser

Overview

Samantha Jaser is a New York University (NYU) official who spread anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel during its war against Hamas terrorists in January 2024.

Jaser published her remarks on Instagram after a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Anti-Semitism and Hatred of Israel during a Hamas War

On January 15, 2024, screenshots of several of Jaser’s undated Instagram Stories were published on Twitter. She had posted them during Israel’s war against Hamas.

On one slide of Jaser’s undated Instagram Stories, Jaser reportedly wrote [photo 2]: “ZIONIST ORGAN HARVESTING FROM OUR LOVED ONES’ CORPSES IS SO SICK.. I’M TELLING YOU, THERE’S NOTHING LEFT THEY HAVENT STOLEN FROM PALESTINIANS.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On another slide of Jaser’s undated Instagram Stories, she wrote [photo 3]: “IT TOOK ONLY ONE THEORY ABOUT ‘ BEHEAD*ED BABIES TO GET IMMEDIATE SUPPORT ( WITH 0 EVIDENCE ) / IT TOOK PALESTINIANS TO SHARE EVERY BABY’S DEAD BODY AND THE WHOLE WORLD TO DEMONSTRATE / AND STILL NO CEASE FIRE.”

Hamas terrorists murdered at least 40 Israeli Jewish babies during its October 7, 2023 terror attacks. Some of the babies were beheaded and some were murdered in front of their parents.

Denial of the Hamas war crimes of October 7, 2023, among anti-Israel activists has been likened to Holocaust denial among neo-Nazis.

On the last slide of Jaser’s undated Instagram Stories, she posted [photo 4] the link to an article from the anti-Israel news site Mondoweiss denying acts of sexual assault by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023.

Jaser added on this Stories slide: “MY TWO CENTS / -TO DATE, THERE HAS BEEN NO FORENSIC EVIDENCE OR FIRSTHAND TESTIMONY TO SUPPORT THE CLAIMS / -THE FAMILY HAS ASKED PEOPLE TO STOP SPREADING THE LIE THAT THEIR LOVED ONE WAS RAPED / - THE ZIONIST PROPAGANDA MACHINE IS WELL FUNDED AND INSIDIOUS. NEXT TO NOTHING IT PRODUCES IS CREDIBLE / -THIS IS ALL TOO REMINISCENT OF FALSE RAPE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST BLACK MEN IN THE U.S. WHICH WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN JUSTIFYING THEIR LYNCHINGS.”

Biographical Information

Jaser was an activist with the anti-Israel group Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) in March 2017.

On January 15, 2024, Jaser was listed on the NYU website as director of undergraduate operations and special events at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering (Tandon). However, as of January 16, 2024, Tandon had deleted her staff page from its website.

As of January 16, 2024, Jaser was listed [p. 14] online as having graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a master’s degree in business administration in May 2023. She went by “Samantha A. Jaser” on the university’s website.

In 2017, Jaser was listed [p. 57] online as having graduated from NYU with a master’s degree in international education and a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern studies and political science.

PYM

In 2012, the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM USA) released a statement saying: “Our liberation...will be gained with the path that was written with the blood of our martyrs. We reaffirm that the only path that we are concerned with is the path that explicitly heads towards the liberation of our land and the return of our people to Palestine.”

PYM organized rallies demonizing Israel where it displays propaganda posters supporting the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and compared Israel to Nazi Germany.

On October 25, 2015, PYM called to support “intifada” during a period when Palestinian radicals across Israel stabbed and hacked to death scores of Israeli civilians. PYM alleged that “Al-Aqsa Mosque has been the target of particularly brutal assaults” and that “... arbitrary killings are committed daily by the Zionist military and settlers.”

On November 10, 2015, the PYM Facebook page displayed a photo of masked Palestinian radicals throwing rocks and firing rocks from slingshots. That photo was used to promote at least 25 anti-Israel rallies across the globe on or around November 29, 2015 under the banner of “Transnational mobilization for Palestinian resistance.”

On November 30, 2015, PYM displayed a photo on Facebook from one of the rallies showing a sign in support of PFLP member Khalida Jarrar, who confessed to inciting violence and calling for terrorists to abduct Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers.

Another sign showed support for PFLP Secretary-General Ahmad Sadat, who was convicted for the 2001 assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi.
