Roseanna Bisram
Roseanna Bisram [Roseanna Yashoda Bisram] was reportedly arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Florida (UF) in April 2024. The encampment was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
On April 30, 2024, the Alachua Chronicle reported that Roseanna Bisram was arrested and charged with “failure to obey an officer, wearing a mask on public property, and resisting an officer without violence” at the UF encampment. The encampment was in violation of UF policy. Bisram was one of nine individuals arrested.
The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of November 2025, Roseanna Bisram's LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at UF, slated to graduate in 2026. UF is located in Gainesville, Florida.
