Brindisi also engaged [00:00:02] in activism [00:00:03] with Samidoun: Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network (Samidoun) in 2023. At least three senior Samidoun activists are members [pp. 22-28] of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group. In 2021, Israel’s Ministry of Justice declared Samidoun to be a “terror organization,” accusing [p. 2] the NGO of operating “as an arm” of the PFLP.
Brindisi expressed [00:09:13] support for terrorists during a September 2021 rally organized by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), a pro-terror activist group in New York City. He also spread [00:11:40] hatred of Zionists at an April 2022 WOL rally and showed support for terrorists and called for Israel’s destruction at a WOL rally in January 2023.
Brindisi was an activist with the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), University of Florida (UF) chapter (UF SJP) in 2021.
Brindisi is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
In 2021, Brandisi expressed solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayekh, a graduate student at the University of Southern California (USC) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Senator who tweeted her desire to “kill every motherf**king Zionist.”
As of July 2023, Brindisi’s Instagram and Facebook pages indicated he had been studying at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law (CUNY Law).
Also as of July 2023, Brindisi posted [slide 1] on his Instagram Stories Highlights titled “Algorithm,” a screenshot of his admission letter from CUNY Law as a transfer student in August 2022.
In November 2021, Brindisi posted on Instagram he had finished his undergraduate studies and “started law school.” In January 2020, he was reportedly a “UF political science senior.” In April 2021, his Facebook read: “UF History, PoliSci, Middle East Studies...”
As of June 2023, Brindisi went by the username “Italian (derogatory)

…” and the handle “@morriconerosso” on Twitter. He used the handle “@rchase.brindisi” on Facebook and “@chasebrin_dz” on Instagram.Celebrating the Death of Israelis
On July 4, 2023, during an Israeli counterterrorism operation in the Jenin refugee camp, Brindisi re-posted [slide 5] on Instagram Stories a screenshot from a Twitter user that said: “An IDF [Israel Defense Forces] soldier has been killed after being shot in the West Bank city of Jenin…The soldier was an NCO [Non-Commissioned Officer] in the elite Egoz unit.”Brindisi wrote on the screenshot: “Well I guess he wasn’t *that* elite then
.”On June 3, 2023, Brindisi mocked the death of three Israeli soldiers killed that day by an Egyptian police officer along the Israeli-Egyptian border, tweeting: “‘Crying IOF’ is one of my favorite photo genres.” Brindisi included photos of Israeli soldiers crying and consoling each other.
“IOF” stands for “Israeli Occupation Forces,” a derogatory name used by anti-Israel activists to demonize Israel’s army in place of its official name, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Brindisi retweeted an April 10, 2023 tweet that said: “the 3 members of the dee family killed in the shooting op ... had they stayed in the uk, instead of coming to settle in ‘efrat’ 9 years ago… they would all still be alive & well ... irresponsible zionist parents put their kids in danger.”
On April 7, 2023, British-Israeli sisters Maia and Rina Dee were killed by Palestinian terrorists in a shooting attack while the family was driving on a highway in Israel’s Jordan Valley. Their mother, Lucy, sustained critical injuries and died three days later. The terrorists who murdered the Dees were killed on May 4, 2023 when Israeli soldiers attempted to arrest them.
Brindisi retweeted a February 28, 2023 tweet that said: “He [Elan Ganeles] made a conscious choice to join a genocidal occupation force as it continues a campaign of mass ethnic cleansing and set himself up in the West Bank on the front lines of the colonial endeavor he sought to uphold. He deserved to die, and his memory will be a stain on the land.”
On February 27, 2023, 26-year-old U.S.-Israeli citizen and former IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldier Elan Ganeles was murdered by Palestinian terrorists who shot at his car from their vehicle while he was driving to a friend’s wedding.
On February 13, 2023, Brindisi tweeted: “Loooool” in response to a tweet that said: “Shufat, East Jerusalem A Palestinian stabbed an Israeli soldier at the checkpoint. Another soldier near the scene shot towards them, but shot the soldier stabbed by accident instead. The soldier is in critical condition.”
Support for Terrorists
On July 8, 2023, Brindisi re-posted [slides 1 and 6] on Instagram Stories graphics and text that glorified terrorist Ghassan Kanafani. Brindisi wrote on one slide: “The zionists tried to silence him but they only made him immortal.”Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.
Also on July 4, 2023, Brindisi re-posted [slide 6] on Instagram Stories a graphic from Samidoun that said: “JENIN. Resistance in victory toward return and liberation.”
In early July 2023, Israeli forces launched a two-day counterterrorism operation in the Jenin refugee camp. Its goal was to target terrorists and dismantle the terror infrastructure of organizations such as Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). By the end of the operation, the Israeli army had reportedly dismantled “hundreds of explosives, weapons caches and underground tunnels.”
On November 24, 2022, Brindisi posted on Instagram a photo of himself holding a sign in support of one of the Holy Land Five (HL5) individuals. In the post, Brindisi claimed the HL5 individuals were “wrongfully imprisoned” and called for them to be “liberated.”
The Holy Land Five (HLF5) were five individuals associated with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) indicted for funneling funds to Hamas in the guise of humanitarian aid. The men were all convicted and sentenced in 2009 to federal prison terms ranging from 15 to 65 years.
On April 3, 2022, Brindisi posted on Instagram a picture of his participation in a March 30, 2022 WOL rally. In the photo, Brindisi wore [slides 1 and 2] a shirt that featured terrorist Leila Khaled holding an assault rifle.
Leila Khaled is a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
Brindisi captioned his Instagram post: “...Diplomacy has been a false solution offered by the ruling class that seeks to preserve the occupation and delegitimize the outrage of the Palestinian people and their comrades…#globalizetheintifada #withinourlifetime #freepalestine.”
The term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” carries the connotation of violence. Palestinian intifadas waged against Israel have been marked since 1987 by hundreds of hijackings, shootings, stabbings, bombings and suicide missions.
On November 4, 2021, Brindisi posted on Instagram a photo of himself holding a sign calling for the freedom of terrorist Miqdad Qawasmi.
In October 2021, six prisoners affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)'s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, chose to prolong their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention by Israel. The six men were Kayed al-Fasfus, Miqdad al-Qawasmeh, Alaa Aaraj, Hisham Abu Hawwash, Shadi Abu-Akr and Ayyad Hureimi.
On September 13, 2021, Brindisi posted on Instagram a quote he attributed to Ghassan Kanafani: “Imperialism has laid its body over the world, its head in Eastern Asia, its heart in the Middle East, its arteries reaching Africa and Latin America. Wherever you strike it, you damage it, and you serve thee [sic] world revolution...”
In the same post, Brindisi claimed the six prisoners who had escaped the Gilboa prison were an example of “a colonized and subjugated population rising up against their oppressors.”
On September 6, 2021, six Palestinian prisoners escaped from the maximum-security Gilboa Prison in Israel. The escaped prisoners were convicted members of the terror organizations Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, who were jailed for their involvement in attacks carried out during the second intifada. All were recaptured by September 19, 2021, by Israeli authorities.
On February 2, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “Palestinian nationalism existed long before [Yasser] Arafat (not a terrorist btw) emerged, back when Palestine was colonized by the british.”
Yasser Arafat was the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Arafat reportedly told Arab diplomats in a secret meeting in 1996: "We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion. Jews will not want to live among Arabs. I have no use for Jews. They are and remain Jews."
On October 15, 2020, Brindisi posted on Instagram a photo of himself posing with former UF SJP President Laila Fakhoury holding a poster of Leila Khaled with an assault rifle. The words above Khaled’s image were “Long Live Free Palestine.”
On September 23, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “I’m finna go to the gym and beat the f**k out of a punching bag while picturing the zionists who got Leila Khaled banned.”
In September 2020, anti-Israel professor Rabab Abdulhadi co-organized an online “conversation” with Leila Khaled, which was canceled by various online video-sharing platforms.
On August 18, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “Angela Davis, Assata Shakur, and Leila Khaled, to name a few,” in response to a tweet that said: “Do men have women heroes?”
Angela Davis made the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List in 1970 after being charged as a principal in an aggravated kidnapping and first-degree murder, for purchasing the shotgun used in the abduction and killing of a judge.
Assata Shakur was convicted of killing a New Jersey state trooper and wounding another in 1973 while a member of the separatist Black Liberation Army (BLA). She escaped from prison in 1979 and fled to Cuba in 1984, where she resides today. She is listed on the FBI Most Wanted Terror List under her legal name, Joanne Deborah Chesimard.
Equating Israel with Nazi Germany
On June 23, 2020, Brindisi tweeted about Zionists: “The things they say in defense of the endless murder of Palestinians are the same things the Nazis said about Jews and the KKK said about Black people, they truly are some of the worst people in existence.” Brindisi’s tweet was in response to another tweet that said: “Zionists are insufferable human beings…”On May 12, 2021, during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW) against terrorists in Gaza, Brindisi tweeted a voice message of himself saying [00:00:01]: “I don’t know how anyone can look at the violence in Palestine and think of anything but pogroms, ethnic cleansing and genocide. Just look at throughout history, it’s the same s**t…What the Nazis did to the Jews…What Israel’s doing to Palestine, Palestinians…They are destroying religious sites and businesses like what the f**king Nazis did to the Jews in the Kristallnacht.”
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
Kristallnacht, or “the Night of Broken Glass,” was a two-day violent pogrom that took place November 9-10, 1938, against the Jewish populations of Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia’s Sudetenland. Jewish stores, synagogues and houses were destroyed and burned, and tens of thousands of Jews were arrested by the Gestapo and the SS, and put into prisons and concentration camps.
Also on May 12, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “Palestinian resistance to israel is the exact same thing as when those [Jews] in the Warsaw ghetto launched a violent uprising against the germans [Nazis], if you want to condemn Palestinians, you gotta condemn the Warsaw ghetto uprising as well.”
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.
The Warsaw Ghetto confined over 450,000 Jews during the Holocaust and 80,000 of those Jews died due to the harsh conditions, starvation and dense population.
Hatred of Israelis and Zionists
On September 23, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “F**k zionists, fr [for real] you are just the worst.”Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.
On October 11, 2020, Brindisi tweeted about Israeli actress Gal Gadot: “I don’t hate gal gadot because she’s a woman, I hate her because she’s a zionist.”
On March 25, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “z*onists cannot love for they do not have hearts.”
On April 15, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “I use asterisks when I use distasteful words i.e. f*ck, sh*t, z*onist, etc.”
On the same date, Brindisi tweeted: “...I’ll say whatever I want about isr*elis bc they’re a bunch of racist white colonizers and war criminals.”
One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites. This claim alleges that Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel.
On the same date, Brindisi tweeted, referring to a video about Israelis celebrating Israeli Independence Day: “y’all are disgusting, there is nothing to celebrate about a nation built and sustained through settler colonialism, genocide, and apartheid.”
On April 23, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “All zionists are white supremacists…”
Brindisi retweeted an April 5, 2023 tweet that said: “May every Zionists get blown to smithereens.” The tweet was in response to another tweet celebrating rocket barrages launched from Gaza into Israel.
On June 16, 2023, Brindisi tweeted a screenshot of his May 22, 2021 tweet where he called an Israeli who had just joined the IDF a “terrorist.”
Hatred of Israel
On April 18, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “the IDF are a bunch of war criminals and thugs, if they got flattened by a rock the size of mount everest it would still be too good for them.”On April 21, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “isr*el should not be an ally [of the U.S.], they are an evil apartheid regime that needs to be dismantled in order for justice to be done to the people they have victimized.”
On April 24, 2021, Brindisi tweeted: “...I only want justice to be done, and yes that means dismantling israel, not because it’s a Jewish state, but because it’s a colonizer state.”
On May 15, 2021, during OGW, Brindisi tweeted: “the z*onist state is not long for this world, Palestine will soon be free #NakbaDay #Nakba73.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by drawing a comparison to the Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, meaning “catastrophe.”
On the same date, Brindisi tweeted: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
On April 22, 2022, Brindisi posted on Instagram: “Palestine will always be the cause of the people because it does not exist to serve the imperial [sic] interests of the ruling class like isr*el does. This is why no amount of money or weapons flowing from their am*rican colonial progenitors will ever be able to extinguish the fires of Palestinian resistance. So that leaves the only question regarding the z*onist entity being when, not if, they will fall to the hands of Palestinian resistance? Inshallah [God willing] it will be within all of our lifetimes, because it will be a glorious sight.

/ #globalizetheintifada #withinourlifetime #freepalastine.” On March 26, 2023, Brindisi tweeted: “zionism is inherently cannibalistic…”

On August 13, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “f**k israel, f**k the uae [United Arab Emirates], f**k the us, and f**k any country that aids their [Israel’s] genocidal campaign against Palestine.”
On June 6, 2020, Brindisi tweeted: “death to America.”
Solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayekh
In November and December 2021, Brindisi tweeted multiple times in support of Yasmeen Mashayekh, who was [00:11:08] then embroiled in a national controversy over anti-Semitism she spread on social media that year.In October 2021, Mashayekh was listed as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Senator for USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering (Viterbi). In May 2021, she tweeted: “I want to kill every motherf**king Zionist.” She also tweeted: “yel3an el yahood [curse the Jews]
.” Mashayekh has also spread violent hatred of Israeli Jews, called for the destruction of Israel and America, expressed support for Hamas and glorified terrorists.
On November 25, 2021, Brindisi tweeted to Viterbi: “What kind of university throws its own students under the bus when they’re face with false accusations by a political lobby?”

Brindisi called[00:00:29] for Israel’s destruction and expressed [00:09:13] support for terrorists as he participated in a September 12, 2021, WOL rally. The rally was in support of six Palestinian “prison breakers and ALL Palestinian prisoners” and it was held in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park. Brindisi appeared [00:00:29] at the center of the screen, behind a green WOL sign. He wore a black shirt that featured terrorist Leila Khaled with an assault rifle.Brindisi chanted [00:00:29]: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!” and [00:01:36]: “From New York to Gaza, Globalize the Intifada!”
Brindisi then chanted [00:07:24]: “Israel, what do you say? How many kids did you kill today?” Later he chanted [00:07:59]: “Five, six, seven, eight, smash the settler Zionist state!”
Brindisi then raised [00:09:13] a spoon with his right hand to honor the terrorists who had escaped the Gilboa prison a few days before. WOL leader Nirdeen Kiswani said [00:09:10] the terrorists had “dug their way out” of the prison “with only a spoon.”
Later, Brindisi marched at the front of the rally and chanted [00:28:37]: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” He marched while holding a sign that said: “Resistance Until Return…Within Our Lifetime.”
On September 13, 2021, Brindisi posted on Instagram: “...#freeallpoliticalprisoners and #globalizetheintifada / Id [sic] you don’t know what #globalizetheintifada means, @wolpalestine puts it best: ‘Globalize the Intifada expands the terrain of struggle by creating new points of leverage based on the interconnectedness of our struggles…So it’s always gonna be Free them all and Free Palestine…”
Brindisi’s post included [slide 1] a photo of WOL banners that said: “Globalize the Intifada” and “Honor the Martys of Palestine” from the previous day’s protest.
“Globalize the Intifada” is an anti-Israel campaign launched by Within Our Lifetime (WOL) in the summer of 2021, intended as an “ongoing strike at the heart of empire with Palestine as its compass.” The movement seeks to “break free from the genocidal grip of U.S. imperialism and Zionism” and advocates “liberation by any means necessary.”

Later, Brindisi chanted [00:40:50]: “Free, free Palestine!” as he held a yellow sign that read: “We Will Free Palestine Within Our Lifetime.” He then marched at the front of the rally alongside other anti-Israel activists.
At the same protest, Suleiman Othman, an anti-Israel activist, shouted [00:44:22] an anti-Semitic slur and other insults at a counterprotester who was wearing an Israeli flag and walking with a crutch. Later [00:00:01], violent anti-Israel agitator Saadah Masoud, physically assaulted the man and stole his flag. He was sent to jail for 18 months for this attack and two others the previous years.
