Peter Tefft

Overview

Peter Tefft has spread anti-Semitism on Twitter and stood with anti-Semitic protesters in Charlottesville, VA, in 2017. Tefft has also praised National Socialism, the German political movement led by Adolf Hitler.

In April 2017, Tefft joined District 21 Republicans in North Dakota and was later expelled from the group in February 2018.

Tefft reportedly owned Dodeca Drywall LLC.

Tefft reportedly goes by the name Chad Radkersburg on the Daily Stormer website. Tefft also reportedly goes by the name Otto Van Tism’ark.

Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts

On February 16, 2018, Tefft tweeted: “@ADL_National is an anti-white Jewish-Supremacist hate group trying to make people hate whites as much as they do.”

On February 10, 2018, Tefft wrote on Facebook: “Israel claiming it doesn’t want anymore escalation with Syria and Iran…” The post featured a photo of an anti-Semitic caricature of a Jew with a big, hooked nose known as the “Happy Merchant” crying with a soldier placing his hand on his nose.

A second image featured a close-up of the soldier with a caption that read: “IT’S AFRAID.”

The Happy Merchant is an anti-Semitic cartoon caricature of a Jew with a black beard, long hooked nose, a hunched back, crooked teeth and wrung hands. The cartoon is often used in memes by white supremacists to spread conspiracy theories and harass Jews online.  

On November 30, 2017, Teft tweeted: “Aren't people that call themselves Jews not Jews but the synagogue of Satan? How long's it been since you read the Bible?”

In a November 28, 2017 Twitter discussion about the morality of Hitler, Tefft tweeted: “That's exactly what the Jewish people did to the Germans and you're letting it happen still. I'll pray for you and all of us.”

Tefft was responding to a tweet that read: “Thing is, your definition of ‘good’ I think is different from mine. I, for example, don't think murdering men,women and children is the way to solve a problem or blaming a race for issues that aren't only theirs.”

On November 28, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “Nazi is a slur word for whites. Don't let )))them((( use it.”



On November 19, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “With the amount of POZ [HIV positive] in Israel I find it hard to believe those at the top care much about ‘their people' as much as they care about their initiation into whatever evil they take part in. Still according to scripture those who call themselves Jews are not, but are... you know ”

On November 1, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “Judaism is subverting us. Not Christians. The bible that says those that call themselves Jews are not but are the Synagogue of Satan.”

On June 9, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “We need to separate ourselves from Jewish controlled institutions. Agreed.”

Praising National Socialism

On November 28, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “#CrisisOnEarthX ‘Do it for the Fatherland!’ Shut it down!!!! The goyim know!!! #AltRight National Socialism is normal, Fam!”

On October 31, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “Nazi is a slur word bruh. Have some tact. National Socialism is a legitimate political ideaology. Just being honest.”

On October 30, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “Would u call a black a Nazi? No. Slur. I'm NSM. Americans killed more than Nazis... Europeans arabs. Etc...  liberal imperialism is evil.”

On October 8, 2017, Tefft tweeted: “Taxes aren't theft and National Socialism is the application of natural law. Because we're Christian we must be Nat Soc. Pro white=natsoc.”

Standing with Charlottesville Anti-Semites

Tefft reportedly attended a “Unite The Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA in August 2017.
 
The “Unite the Right” rally took place on August 12th in Charlottesville, VA. The rally attracted the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) and white separatist League of the South (LS).

Richard Spencer headlined the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Many supporters brought Confederate flags to the rally.  

One neo-Nazi who attended the rally drove his car into a group of counter-protesters, killing one and injuring at least 19 others. Another 14 people were injured in other fighting between white nationalists and leftist counter-protesters.
 
On August 14, 2017, Tefft reportedly said of the White Nationalist protest, “It was a trap, plain and simple. But let us be clear. Ultimately, this was a victory for us. Our movement will be emboldened by Charlottesville. The ‘Unite the Right’ rally legitimized our struggle. ‘The is the beginning of the white civil rights movement.’”
 
Tefft also reportedly planned to hold his own “Pro-White civil rights rally in Fargo around October,” 2017.
 
Following Tefft’s participation in the protest in Charlottesville, Tefft was publicly denounced by his father who wrote: “He once joked, ‘The thing about us fascists is, it’s not that we don’t believe in freedom of speech. You can say whatever you want. We’ll just throw you in an oven.’”

On November 29, 2017, Tefft promoted on Twitter a demonstration titled: “BACK TO C-VILLE”

Tefft’s tweet read: “Diversity? Where we're going, we don't need diversity… Unity is all we need. #UniteTheRight #Cville #Diversity #AltRight.”

The tweet linked to a blog post by Jason Kessler who had applied for a “permit at Charlottesville’s Lee Park for August 11th and 12th, 2018 on the one year anniversary of Unite the Right.”
