Jason Kessler
Overview
Jason Kessler was reportedly an organizer of the 2017 “Unite the Right Rally” in Charlottesville and allegedly justified the death of a counter-protester who was run down at the rally.Kessler has spread anti-Semitism and demonized Israel on social media.
Kessler reportedly a 2009 graduate of the University of Virginia (UVA) with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
In 2017, Kessler plead guilty to misdemeanor assault, after he punched a man in the face.
In 2017, Kessler was reportedly a member of the far-right organization the Proud Boys. Kessler was kicked out of the group by its founder Gavin McInnes, once Kessler’s views on race became known.
As of April 2018, Kessler’s Wikipedia page listed his “occupation” as“Alt-right activist.” Kessler is reportedly a freelance journalist who has written for VDARE, Daily Caller and GotNews.
He was also reportedly the president and founder of the “America First non-profit Unity and Security for America.”
Charlottesville Rally
On August 12, 2017, Kessler was reportedly one of the organizersof the “Unite The Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA, that attracted the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) and white separatist League of the South (LS).
Richard Spencer headlined the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Many supporters brought Confederate flags to the rally.
One neo-Nazi who attended the rally drove his car into a group of counter-protesters, killing one and injuring at least 19 others. Another 14 people were injured in other fighting between white nationalists and leftist counter-protesters.
On August 18, 2017, referring to the killed counter-protester, Kessler reportedly tweeted: “Heather Heyer was a fat, disgusting Communist. Communists have killed 94 million. Looks like it was payback time.” Kessler’s tweet also reportedly linked to a story on neo-Nazi website “that also insulted Heyer in crude terms and appeared to take glee in her death.”
Following denunciations, Kessler reportedly claimed that his Twitter account was hacked. He later backtracked and said he had been on a mixture of drugs and alcohol. Shortly after, Kessler’s Twitter account was privated and then deleted.
On January 25, 2018, Kessler tweeted: “Jewish kid called it exactly: ‘Could Jews be using their disproportionate power to get revenge on Europeans?’ Great mind of @jordanbpeterson ground to a halt, sensing that following his usual logical analysis might make him admit the unutterable truth.”
On January 22, 2018, Kessler tweeted: “Jews will not replace us.”
On January 5, 2018, Kessler tweeted: “Powerful Jewish lobby groups B'nai Brith & the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center are celebrating the incarceration of a sweet old lady because she has doubts about the Holocaust.”
On the same day, Kessler tweeted: “Whether you agree with this woman or not its flat our evil for her to be incarcerated for expressing her views. Her case is exactly why we have to aggressively combat the powerful and tyrannical Jewish lobby.”
On December 12, 2017, Kessler tweeted: “Months ago I posted one of the mildest & most factual critiques of Jewish Supremacy to YouTube: as 2% of the population they control most major news outlets, have 3 of 9 supreme court justices, give ~%40 of political donations, etc...”
On October 16, 2017, Kessler tweeted: “So you think its heathy for the press, which tells so many Leftist fictions, to be monopolized by Jews? ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN Presidents= all Jews They're 2% of the population.”

The tweet featured an image of a giant hand crushing down on people, captioned with a quote by neo-Nazi Kevin Alfred Strom and misattributed to Voltaire that read: “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”
