Parnia Vafaei
Parnia Vafaei vandalized posters raising awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held hostage in Gaza. The December 2023 incident happened in San Diego, California. Also in late 2023, Vafaei spread antisemitism and hatred of Israel on social media during Israel’s war against Hamas.
The incidents occurred following a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. Among the kidnapped were women, children and the elderly.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
As of December 21, 2023, Vafaei’s LinkedIn profile said Vafaei was an independent activist and a freelance digital marketing manager based in San Diego, California.
As of the same date, Vafaei’s LinkedIn said Vafaei attended California Lutheran University (CLU) and was due to receive a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2019.
CLU is located in Thousand Oaks, California.
