Nicholas Kattoura’s Participation in the Pro-Hamas Encampment at Columbia University (Columbia) and Anti-Israel Activism

Nicholas Kattoura [Nicki Kattoura] was an activist with Students for a Free Palestine (SFP) at Oberlin College (Oberlin) from 2016-2018. SFP is an alternative name for Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

Nicholas Kattoura participated in the pro-Hamas encampment at Columbia in April 2024.

Kattoura attended the 2018 National SJP Conference and was reportedly a member of the conference’s Steering Committee.

The 2018 National SJP conference was held on November 16-18, 2018 at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The conference was themed “Radical Hope: Resistance in the Face of Adversity.” The conference website stated: “[t]he reason we can have hope is that Zionism...can be destroyed.”

As of November 2024, Kattoura was listed as the co-director of Resist.

As of the same date, Kattoura’s Palestine Writes bio said he was a “Philadelphia-based, Palestinian writer, editor, and organizer.”

As of February 2019, Kattoura’s LinkedIn page said that he was slated to graduate Oberlin that year with a bachelor’s degree in Politics and English. As of the same date, his LinkedIn said he was a Student Admissions Intern at Oberlin since June 2017.

As of July 2019, Khattoura indicated on Facebook that he graduated.

As of September 2019, Kattoura was a writer for Mondoweiss.

Also as of September 2019, Kattoura’s LinkedIn page said he was a Student Admissions Intern at Oberlin from “Jun 2017 - Present.”

His LinkedIn page also said he graduated from Oberlin in 2019, with a bachelor's degree in Politics and English.

As of January 31, 2019, Kattoura went by the alias “Nic Holas” and as of February 5, 2019, he used his name, Nicholas Kattoura, on Facebook.
