Neel Srinath

Neel Srinath [Neel Murthy Srinath] was arrested at a pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Connecticut (UConn) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

On April 30, 2024, Neel Srinath was arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct at the UConn encampment, according to records obtained from the UConn Police Department.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of March 2025, Neel Srinath's LinkedIn profile said Srinath worked as a reporting fellow at Inkstick Media, where Srinath was listed as Nell Srinath.

Also as of March 2025, Neel Srinath's LinkedIn said Srinath graduated from UConn with a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism in 2024. UConn is located in Storrs, Connecticut.

As of the same date, Neel Srinath's LinkedIn also said Srinath was located in Greater Hartford, Connecticut.

As of March 2025, Neel Srinath went by Nell Srinath on social media.
