Molly Paul participated in the pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and in multiple anti-Israel rallies during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists, launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

The Penn encampment was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of February 2025, Molly Paul's LinkedIn profile said she had worked part-time as an education director at Congregation Beth Israel of Media, located in Media, Pennsylvania, since July 2021.
As of the same date, Paul's LinkedIn said she was studying for rabbinic ordination and a master's degree in Hebrew Letters at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College (RRC), slated to graduate in 2025. RRC is located in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.
As of February 2025, Paul's LinkedIn said she was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

April 28, 2024, was Day 4 of the "Gaza Solidarity Encampment" at Penn, which was set up to protest Israel's war against Hamas. The Penn encampment was set up by students from Penn, Temple University and Drexel University. PPC also helped promote the encampment, which was part of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

On November 16, 2023, multiple anti-Israel activist groups gathered in the center of Philadelphia for a protest and march where the crowd chanted multiple times for Israel’s destruction. Participants ended the event with a rally outside the office of U.S. Senator Bob Casey.

On May 14, 2024, JVP Philly organized an anti-Israel protest at the Israel Bonds Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
