Mark Allen Cu [Mark Allen Gabe Cu] participated in an anti-Israel event at Stanford University (Stanford) in 2024.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of July 2025, Mark Allen Cu's Stanford profile said Cu was studying for a master's degree in education at Stanford. Cu's X bio said Cu was slated to graduate from Stanford in 2026.
As of March 2026, Mark Allen Cu's byline page for The Stanford Daily, Stanford's student newspaper, showed that Cu's first article with Cu's byline was published in October 2022. Cu was also listed as the "Staff Development Director & Solutions Editor" at the Stanford Daily.

Activists held signs made by the organizers that said: "RESISTANCE IS JUSTIFIED / WHEN PEOPLE ARE OCCUPIED!" and "RESISTANCE AGAINST OCCUPATION IS A HUMAN RIGHT!"
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and antisemitic violence.
The event was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The outcome of the movement's goals would result in Israel's destruction. Within hours of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, the BDS movement renewed its call for an anti-Israel boycott.
