Majid Khorchid participated in an anti-Israel rally during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists, launched after the October 7, 2023 terror attacks.

On October 25, 2023, SJP Temple held an anti-Israel protest on the Temple campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
SJP Temple's Instagram post promoting the event accused Israel of "ethnic cleansing and genocide," along with a graphic that said: "We Will Be Walking Out Of Classes On 10/25 In Protest To The Ethnic Cleansing Of Palestinians In Gaza & To Stand In Solidarity With Palestine."
