Zubaidi reposted a March 18, 2025 post on X that said: "Abu Hamza was only in his twenties, around 25 years old...Israel will paint him as a long-bearded bogeyman, but he was simply a Palestinian who sought liberation and spoke of it with powerful, lasting words."
Naji Abu Saif, better known as Abu Hamza, was the spokesperson for the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). On March 18, 2025, Hamza was killed in an Israeli airstrike during Operation Strength and Sword.
On March 18, 2025, Israel launched Operation Strength and Sword, its first major airstrikes on Gaza since the January 19, 2025 ceasfire with Hamas. The operation targeted senior Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist operatives and facilities in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered the operation in response to Hamas's refusal to release hostages and rejection of ceasefire proposals.
Zubaidi reposted a March 18, 2025 post on X that said: "Martyr leader Abu Hamza / March 18, 2025 / 'By God, if they placed the sun on our right hand and the moon on our left, we would not abandon Al-Quds [Jerusalem], Gaza, Palestine, and every corner of our dear homeland until the land is returned, or we perish without it.'"
Zubaidi reposted a March 18, 2025 post on X that said: "The new regime in syria is denying Hezbollah the opportunity to re-arm, so they cannot open a front against Israel to deter them from restarting the genocide. / Everyone who supported the regime change in Syria has Palestinian blood on their hands, not to mention syrian blood."
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
Zubaidi reposted a March 7, 2025 post on X that said: "Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was protecting the entire region—including those who despised his purity. By killing him, the gates of hell broke loose. May God grant us steadfastness in the dark years ahead."
Hassan Nasrallah became the leader of terror group Hezbollah in 1992 and maintained his leadership until an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon killed him on September 27, 2024. Nasrallah once said: “In a future war, all of occupied Palestine will be struck by our rockets” and [00:00:19]: “Israel is a cancerous tumor!…The only solution is to eradicate the cancer.” He called Jews the most “cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble” people in the world.
Zubaidi reposted a March 18, 2025 post on X that said, referring to Israel: "I don’t want peace with baby killers, I want them to perish. If my people must live in close proximity with these beasts may the distance that divides them be the soil that covers the caskets of the occupiers."
As of December 12, 2024, Zubaidi was listed as a speaker at an anti-Israel event titled: "Gaza Unseen: PERSPECTIVES FROM THE FRONTLINES OF HEALTHCARE." The event was hosted by Stanford Medical Community for Health Equity and Justice in Palestine.
On June 15, 2024, during Stanford School of Medicine's graduation, Zubaidi walked on stage and displayed [00:00:21] a keffiyeh with a handwritten sign that said: "END GENOCIDE / APARTHEID ZIONISM...FREE PALESTINE."
On September 15, 2024, more than 100 members of the Stanford Medicine community signed an anti-Israel petition during Israel's war against Hamas. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, during which 1,200 Israelis were murdered.
The petition was titled: “Stanford Medicine community demands an end to Stanford’s complicity in genocide.”
The petition repeatedly accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and also accused Israel of the “extermination” of Gazans.
Signatories showed support for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and said: “Send a message to the Stanford University Board of Trustees supporting divestment from companies involved in Israeli war crimes, genocide or apartheid.”
Signatories further claimed: “Contracting with companies who aid in the destruction of hospital and university infrastructures, the murder of healthcare workers and the genocide of an entire people is not in line with our Hippocratic Oath to ‘do not [sic] harm.’”
Stanford Medicine comprises Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford Healthcare and Stanford Children’s Health.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.
For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
Hamas uses hospitals, universities and mosques in Gaza to hide their military command centers, store weapons and launch rockets at Israel. According to international law, such sites are no longer deemed “civilian objects,” and lose their right of protection against attack.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
