Lena Abushaban
Lena Abushaban served as the president of an anti-Israel activist group that expressed support for Hamas terrorism on October 7, 2023. She spread hatred of Israel and Zionists on social media.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists murdered over 1,200 Israeli Jews, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
As of February 2024, Abushaban reportedly served as the president of the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at Loyola University Chicago (SJP LUC) during the 2023-2024 academic year. Also that month, she was listed on the group’s official LUC website as its “Primary Contact.”
SJP LUC promoted the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement during the same academic year when Abushaban was president.
As of November 2022, Abushaban served as a board member of The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) chapter at LUC, known as PCRF LUC.
The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a nonprofit organization reportedly set up “to address the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian youths in the Middle East.” It has been financially linked with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which was shut down by the U.S. government for funneling donations to the Hamas terrorist organization.
Abushaban also served as a public relations representative and board member for STUDENTS ORGANIZE FOR SYRIA during the 2022-2023 academic year.
As of May 2024, Abushaban’s LinkedIn profile said she graduated from LUC with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and psychology in May 2024.
As of the same date, Abushaban’s LinkedIn said she had worked as a retail management intern at CVS from June 2023 to August 2023.
As of the same date, Abushaban’s LinkedIn said she was located in Chicago, Illinois.
