Khari Franklin
Khari Franklin was arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at Princeton University (Princeton) in April 2024.
The student group Princeton Israeli Apartheid Divest (PIAD) was a co-organizer of the encampment, which ran for three weeks. Activists demanded that Princeton divest from companies doing business in Israel.
The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
On April 30, 2024, PIAD said that Khari Franklin was arrested for defiant trespass when Franklin and 12 others occupied Princeton’s Clio Hall. According to the arrestees, criminal charges were filed.
On July 7, 2025, in exchange for community service and a letter of apology, the judge dismissed the charges with prejudice and ordered automatic expungement of Franklin’s arrest record.
As of December 2025, Khari Franklin's LinkedIn said he graduated from Princeton with a bachelor's degree in "African-American/Black Studies" in 2024.
As of the same date, Khari Franklin's LinkedIn also said he was a strategic sourcing analyst at RaceTrac. His LinkedIn said he was located in Atlanta, Georgia.
