Jeanine Hasan

Overview

Jeanine Hasan has spread anti-Semitism and defended the terror group Hamas on Twitter. She also claimed that ISIS are Jews and spread hatred of Israel on social media.

As of March 2018, Hasan’s LinkedIn page said she was a student at Kent State University (KSU) at Stark, studying Marketing, from 2015-2019 and worked as a Customer Service Associate at Acme Fresh Market In northeast OH.

Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts

On June 16, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “@Mazn796 hmm ok well he makes sense you probs shouldn't trust the yahood [Jews]. Ok new rule just trust no one.”

On June 16, 2015, in response to a tweet by Israa Eddeb that read: “Cavs' coach is annoying.” Hasan tweeted: “@IssySpeaks_ and yahoodi [Jewish].”

Hasan’s and Eddeb’s Twitter exchange was referring to David Michael Blatt, then-head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Defending Hamas

On August 5, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in Gaza, Hasan tweeted: “@zainamazing or ‘Hamas uses children as human shields.’ They're so frustrating. There's no evidence Hamas even does that.”

Throughout the summer of 2014 — during Operation Protective Edge (OPE) — Hamas's deployment of human shields was extensively documented and publicized. Hamas encouraged Gazans to act as human shields to frustrate Israeli efforts to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza.

Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.  

On the same day, Hasan tweeted: “...? Hamas just wants rights for their people and they only way they can get them.”

A day earlier on August 4, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “@seanhannity Hamas didn't kill those 3 teens. Israel knows that. They've already came out and said it. Stop making yourself believe things.”

In August 2014, Hamas admitted responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers at a bus stop on June 12 of that year. The bodies of  the abducted boys were found buried in Palestinian-controlled territory on June 30, 2014.

Claiming ISIS are Jews

On August 25, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “I hate how when they talk about Isis on the news they have to refer to them as an ‘islamic’ terrorist group..as if the Islamic part matters.”

Another Twitter user replied: “@Jmasterswizzle it only matters because ISIS emphasizes it in everything they do.”

Hasan then responded: “@Mazn796 which makes me believe it's yahood [Jews] and not arab. They never even show their faces.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On February 23, 2015, Hasan tweeted: “Mom- ‘why would Israel open the dam and flood Gaza?’ ...Because it's Israel and they're 7ameer [donkeys/idiots] mom.”

Hasan was referring to a false claim, spread by Palestinian sources, that Israel flooded Gaza.

On July 24, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “@Noor_Shean they either a.) don't know what's actually happening or b.) are Zionist scum bags.”

On August 5, 2014, during Israel’s OPE in Gaza, Hasan tweeted: “@amusaxo @OrLusiS @WorldAgnstHamas @ginalove3232 Israel is using Hamas as an excuse. They're just greedy & want more land. There I said it.”

On July 27, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “@PalestineGurl96 @Israel they shouldn't even exist in the first place I wish they could un exist. And I hope they read these.”

On the same day, Hasan tweeted: “Scale 1 to 10 on how much I hate Israel would be a solid 42.”

On July 15, 2014, Hasan tweeted: “@Adi__Ophir terrorists are bad that's why I'm not a fan of Israel :-) and ooo wait so they are paying you? Lmao awkwarddd.”

On the same day, Hasan tweeted: “@GraceHadarBM that Israel is a terrorist state and Palestine will be free one day...inshallah :-)”
