Israa Eddeb has spread anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel on Twitter.

In 2014 and 2015, Eddeb was affiliated with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Akron (UA).

In 2014, Eddeb attended the Muslim American Society (MAS) - Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Convention.

As of April 2018, Eddeb’s LinkedIn page said she worked as an Community Relations Admin Assistant at Owens Corning, based in Toledo, OH.

Eddeb’s LinkedIn page also said she was a 2016 graduate of UA, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business organization and Public Relations.

Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts

On June 16, 2015, Eddeb tweeted: “Cavs' coach is annoying.” Jeanine Hasan, a friend of Eddeb’s, replied: “@IssySpeaks_ and yahoodi [Jewish]” Eddeb replied: “@Jmasterswizzle right! I keep staring at his nose.”

Eddeb’s tweet referred to David Michael Blatt, then-head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On July 2, 2014, Eddeb tweeted: “@tmazzy tweet correction: TFUUUU 3alel yahood [Spit on the Jews].”

On the same day, Eddeb tweeted: “Yikhrib beit el yahood [Destroy the homes of the Jews] , ammm I right, or ammmmm I right #imright.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On November 11, 2015, Eddeb tweeted: “Most of tax money going to Zionism aka murderism #FreePalestine.”

On August 6, 2015 Eddeb tweeted: “I never tweet bad words..but this is appropriate..f**k Zionists #FreePalestine.”

On August 5, 2014, Eddeb tweeted: “I literally cringe when someone falsely refers Palestine as ‘Israel’ #FreePalestine #stopignorance2014”

On July 23, 2014, Eddeb tweeted: “To all the people defending Zionists…” The tweet featured a someecard that read: “You seem to be very well educated on stuff that you made up.”

On July 22, 2014, Eddeb tweeted: “When I found out Starbucks doesn't fund that one nonexistent country ‘Israel’, I was so happy tbh #CaramelRibbonCrunchFrappHereICome.”

On July 20, 2014, Eddeb tweeted: “‘@substerrr: In honor of those who still support Israel's terrorism against Palestinians https://vine.co/v/M2qZaPd0awI ‘ LOL on point though.”

On July 12, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in Gaza, Eddeb

Eddeb tweeted: “@ADL_National GET THIS LIE OUT OF HERE, @Israel is attacking innocent civilians in gaza!!!! Gaza has no army!! Ethnic cleansing!!”

Eddab was responding to a tweet by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) that read: “We stand in solidarity with the people of #Israel as rockets from #Hamas-controlled #Gaza rain down on them.”

Hamas fired over 4,564 missiles and rockets — including Grad rockets — at Israeli population centers during Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July of 2014.

Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

MSA

The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
