Jasmine Gripper

Jasmine Gripper has celebrated a domestic terrorist, spread hatred of the police and expressed support for violent protests in Gaza led by Hamas.

As of January 2026, Gripper was listed as a member of the transition team for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, serving on the Community Organizing Committee.

Mamdani has called for dismantling capitalism and promoted hatred of the police. He has also justified Hamas terrorism and glorified terror supporters. On his first day as mayor, he revoked executive orders designed to combat antisemitism, including increased police protection at synagogues, and nullified a ban on city officials to boycott Israel.

As of January 2026, Gripper's LinkedIn said she worked as the executive director at Alliance for Quality Education (AQE). Her LinkedIn said she was located in New York, New York.

Also as of January 2026, Gripper's X said she was co-director of the New York City chapter Working Families Party (WFP). Her X said she was located in Albany, New York.

On April 27, 2018, during the "Great March of Return" protests, Gripper posted on X: "It is difficult to see how tire-burning or stone-throwing, or even Molotov-cocktails thrown from a significant distance at heavily protected security forces in defensive positions can be seen to constitute such threat."

Throughout 2018, Hamas organized and funded the “March of Return” riots where tens of thousands of Palestinians approached the Israel-Gaza border, attempting to breach Israel’s security fence. They sent explosive devices into Israel, shot firearms and threw projectiles at Israeli soldiers, necessitating the use of live fire in response.

One Hamas leader declared: “We will take down the border and we will tear out their hearts from their bodies.” The riots intended to highlight the “right of return,” a Palestinian demand long discredited as a way to destroy Israel.

During the 2018 March of Return, Hamas routinely directed its members to infiltrate the border between Gaza and Israel to train for an attack on Israeli communities in the area, leading to the October 7, 2023 massacre. For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
