On May 21, 2018, the Montreal Gazette published a report on Sohier-Chaput, titled: “Exclusive: Major neo-Nazi figure recruiting in Montreal.” The report, which referred to Sohier-Chaput as “Zieger,” was “One of North America’s most influential neo-Nazis.”

The flier featured an image of a Swastika posted over the face of U.S. President Donald Trump.
In 2016, Erin Shrode was a Jewish congressional candidate in California who was the target of an anti-Semitic online harrassment campaign organized by the Daily Stormer.
Sohier-Chaput wrote: “Schrode is a Jew, and as such will support Jewish interests if she’s elected to congress. Whenever s**tlords try to run for office, they have to brace themselves for a media storm of hostility. Jews and shills must learn to fear a similar reaction when they attempt to infiltrate our leadership positions.”
One e-mail that Shrode reportedly received and which was cited by Sohier-Chaput in his article, read: “Get out of my country, kike,” and “Get to Israel to where you belong. That or the oven. Take your pick.”
The email was reportedly accompanied by a caricature of Shrode wearing a yellow “Jude” star and standing on the railway tracks leading to the gates of the Auschwitz death camp.
On the same day, Sohier-Chaput (using his Zeiger Twitter feed) tweeted to his followers the same caricature of Shrode, with the comment: “This charming Jewess #ErinSchrode is running for Congress in California. Made a little meme to commemorate.”
Sohier-Chaput continued in his June 6, 2016 Daily Stormer article saying: “The Jewish strategy is to divorce us from reality, denying the existence of racial, sexual and ability differences in order to make it easier for them to blend in and exploit us.The Nazi strategy, on the other hand, is to call out Jews whenever they shill.”

On May 3, 2018, the Montreal Gazette shared a video on Youtube that featured [00:00:43] Sohier-Chaput at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, representing the Daily Stromer, alongside fellow Daily Stormer writer, Robert Warren Ray.Sohier-Chaput stood in front of a banner that read: “END JEWISH CONTROL OF AMERICA,” and said [00:00:45] to a camera: “The name of this rally is Unite the Right. Unite the Right doesn’t mean that we should all compromise on principles in order to have like a big tent…”
The “Unite the Right” rally took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12, 2017, with many far-right groups participating such as the National Socialist Movement (NSM) and League of the South (LS). White nationalist leader Richard Spencer organized the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee. Violence erupted at the rally, with one counterprotester killed and at least 33 others injured.
