Farah Ghanem
Farah Ghanem was vice president of a Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter that expressed support for Hamas terrorists in October 2023 during an Israeli war against Hamas. Ghanem called for Israel’s destruction online during the same war and also spread hatred of Israel in her activism.
Ghanem was appointed [slide 3] to be vice president of the SJP chapter at the University of Southern Florida (SJP USF) in August 2023. She also served as the public relations officer for SJP USF in February 2023. USF is located in Tampa, Florida.
Ghanem’s SJP chapter showed support for Hamas following a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
As of October 2023, Ghanem indicated on Instagram that she was a health sciences major at USF. In May 2023, she was reportedly a sophomore.
