On November 29, 2022, Fair posted to Facebook: “Ever wonder why they called Ye and Kyrie ‘antisemitic’? BUT NOT #LIARS? Revelation 3:9 [9]Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
The phrase “synagogue of Satan” is mentioned in two verses from the New Testament’s Book of Revelation (2:9, 3:9). BHIs have used these verses to justify antisemitism.
In the fall of 2022, American rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, sparked controversy after tweeting that he would go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” Ye also promoted [00:01:02, 00:04:37] antisemitic conspiracy theories and argued he was not antisemitic because “black people are actually Jew also.” In the wake of his remarks, Ye lost brand deals with companies such as Adidas, Gap and Foot Locker.
In October 2022, NBA player Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets promoted on Twitter the film, “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.” The 2018 film called the death of six million Jews during the Holocaust as one of five fundamental lies invented by the Jews. In November 2022, the Nets suspended Irving for several weeks. In December 2022, Nike terminated its sponsorship deal with him.
Fair’s November 29, 2022 Facebook post included two images taken from a book titled: “Chosen People from the Caucasus,” and featured text that read: “The essential point is that these ‘Ashkenazim,’ the Jewry of Eastern Europe and the prime victims of Hitler’s holocaust, were descendants of Khazar tribespeople. They were converts to Judaism. They have no historical or genetic connection with the biblical Jews of Palestine at all.”
The “Khazar myth” refers to the assertion that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites but instead from the Khazar people, whose ruling class was said to have converted to Judaism. Ashkenazi Jews originate from an ancient Jewish community in the Middle East, whose descendants settled in Europe. The Khazar myth is used [00:02:16] to deny Jews’ connection to the Land of Israel.
On April 11, 2022, IUIC Miami published on their YouTube channel a video of Fair delivering a speech. During the video, Fair said [00:22:07]: “the people who are in Israel right now, they aren’t the true people of God and they aren’t the real Israelites.”
The accusation that Jews are “fake” and “impostors” [sic] with no connection to the Land of Israel is a popular teaching preached by BHIs.
In the same video, Fair also said: [00:47:21] “So that's why you see people like Nick Cannon, Desean Jackson, uh uh, and and, a few others, when they come out and say things like they're the Israelites, and that the people in Israel today, and the things that happen to those, uh, so-called fake Jews in the time of Nazi Germany…”
In July 2020, television star Nick Cannon was fired by ViacomCBS after he made antisemitic comments on his podcast, for which he later apologized. Cannon reportedly promoted various antisemitic conspiracy theories, including the claim that Jewish people control the media. Cannon also reportedly suggested that Jewish people were not real Jews and that African Americans were “the true Hebrews.”
In July 2020, DeSean Jackson promoted on Instagram a claim that Hitler said African Americans were the real Jews, and that “white Jews…will blackmail America.” The quote was exposed as a hoax by the fact-checking website, Snopes.com, in 2017.
On July 22, 2020, Fair posted on Facebook a photo of Orthodox Jews and wrote: “At #IUIC we do not agree with #AntiSemitism! We also don’t agree with #Lying! We would like for the #Jewish Community to please provide #Biblical Proof of how they are the #Children of Israel! The #Bible says to prove all things.”
On the same date, Fair posted on Facebook an image of Orthodox Jews and wrote: “...A challenge to you Jewish Converts, (Goyim)... show us proof from the TORAH!”
Text on the image read: “Which one of the curses you fit according to Deuteronomy 28:15-68??”
The term “goy” in Hebrew is traditionally used to refer to a non-Jew.
On February 23, 2020, Fair posted on Instagram an IUIC graphic depicting the Western Wall and an Orthodox Jew with text that read: “ISRAELI - FAKING IT SINCE 1948.” 1948 refers to the year the State of Israel was established.
Fair wrote on the post: “...The Sons and daughters of the slave trade are the true #biblical #Israelites!”
On November 26, 2015, Fair posted on Facebook a photo of Orthodox Jews and wrote: “The Fake! Revelation 2:9 (KJV [King James version]) I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”
