Dorothy Mariles participated in at least one anti-Israel march in San Jose, California, in November 2023.
At the march, Mariles held a handmade sign with slogans that called for Israel's destruction and spread hatred of America. The sign said: "Palestine will be Free ... We will see the Fall of Every Empire. The ending of Every Occupation. From Every River to Every Sea - Briana Simone Jones."

As of July 2025, Dorothy Mariles' LinkedIn profile said Mariles had been a front desk receptionist at Paul Mitchell Schools since January 2019.

On November 17, 2023, the organizers posted on Instagram: "Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea! Join is this Sunday 11/16 [sic] at SJ City Hall to continue to deepen the struggle for Palestinian liberation / #palestine #gaza #gazaunderattack #resistance."
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” is a chant used [00:02:52] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and antisemitic violence.
