Cleo Aukland participated in at least one Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) event in 2025 in New York City, organized by the city’s DSA chapter (NYC-DSA).

NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.

The event that Cleo Aukland participated in was in support of NYC-DSA member and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.

As of September 2025, Aukland's LinkedIn profile said she had been working as an advancement associate at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School since January 2020.

As of the same date, Cleo Aukland's LinkedIn also said she was located in Brooklyn, New York.
