Austin Cole

Overview

Austin Cole expressed support for Hamas terrorists, promoted incitement and spread hatred of Israel as a speaker at a rally organized by a pro-Hamas activist group in October 2023. At the time, he was a graduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Cole gave his speech following a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

In December 2023, as an activist with MIT’s anti-Israel student group Coalition Against Apartheid (MIT CAA), Cole interviewed [00:23:51] anti-Israel Miko Peled.

Cole is a supporter [00:04:54] of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of January 2024, Cole was listed online as pursuing an MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management, slated to graduate in 2024.

Also as of January 2024, Cole’s LinkedIn profile said he had been working as a DUSP PKG Summer Fellow for the City of Boston since June 2023.
