Augustus Sol Invictus
Overview
Augustus Sol Invictus has denied the Holocaust and injected hatred of Israelinto his candidacy for the U.S. Senate. He has called for the fall of the American government as well as a violent American civil war.Invictus was a headline speaker at the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rallies in 2017.
In 2019, Invictus wrote that “in the past two years” he had two separate podcasts; “Guerilla Radio” and “The Spengler Chronicles.” In 2019, Invictus interviewed a number of White Supremacists, including: former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, neo-Nazi politician Patrick Little and white nationalist leader Richard Spencer.
In 2016, Invictus was a Republican candidate for the United States senate in Florida. On August 14, 2017, Invictus announced he was running as a Republican for the 2018 U.S. Senate election in Florida.
In 2013, Invictus sacrificed a goat and drank its blood.
His LinkedIn also said he attended Rollins College (Rollins) Crummer Graduate School of Business from 2012 - 2013 but was “Banned from Rollins College for life” with “no degree earned.”
Invictus’s original given name was Austin Gillespie. He later changed his name to Augustus Sol Invictus.
The article accused the Jews of benefiting from the coronavirus pandemic, arguing “Who is profiting?...It is not the beauty of Our Children, the livelihood of Our Workers...Look upon this exercise in control as what it is: a lining up of the goyim cattle for slaughter and domination...Reject the shackles of death that the Jew offers.”
The article claimed that, without the Jew, the coronavirus response would be better: “Hospitals are never overwhelmed, because they are not already overstretched by illegal aliens and extremely limited resources, and further battered by the obscene profit margin expectations of the Jewish markets...”
The article continued: “Leaders are focused on the prosperity...They are not thralls of the Jew…There are no markets being crashed by the Jew and its minions for profit at the expense of workers.”
On July 24, 2015, Invictus tweeted: “Campaign promise: When I am elected Senator, Israel will no longer dictate our foreign policy. #foreignaffairs #Iran.”
The interviewer asked [00:06:19]: “So when you speak of total insurrection, you are talking about violent insurrection?” Invictus replied [00:06:24]: “I am.”
On a May 1, 2016 edition of “Fireside Chat on the Possibility of Revolution,” Invictus said [00:03:11] “I say unto you, My Fellow Americans, that the Federal Government is not invincible. Verily, I say unto you that it can fall and more than this, I say that it must fall. And if our blood must be the sacrifice, then so be it.”
On April 22, 2013, Invictus wrote a “Departure Memo” where he claimed to renounce his United States citizenship and said: “I have prophesied for years that I was born for a Great War; that if I did not witness the coming of the Second American Civil War I would begin it myself.
He continued: “Mark well: That day is fast coming upon you. On the New Moon of May, I shall disappear into the Wilderness. I will return bearing Revolution, or I will not return at all.”
White nationalists carried [00:00:13] torches — reminiscent of Ku Klux Klan (KKK) cross burning ceremonies — and chanted [00:20:36] “You will not replace us.” Some marchers also chanted [00:22:15] “Jews will not replace us!” and screamed [00:00:13] “one people, one nation, end immigration!”
The march ended with several marchers reportedly using their torches as weapons against counter-protesters. Police then shut down the event, declaring it an “unlawful assembly.” Following the violence, marchers chanted [00:01:08] “White Lives Matter!” and yelled [00:21:26] “Anti-White!” at the counter-protesters.
Marchers also chanted [00:05:18] “Blood and Soil!” — an English variation of a popular Nazi-era German chant “blut und boden.” Multiple marchers made Nazi salutes and the reportedly chanted “sieg heil!!”
Richard Spencer headlined the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Many protesters brought Confederate flags to the rally.
Invictus said:“I did sacrifice a goat. I know that's probably a quibble in the mind of most Americans,” Invictus continued: “I sacrificed an animal to the god of the wilderness ... Yes, I drank the goat's blood.”
In an interview published on YouTube on June 3, 2016, Invictus said [00:00:13]: “the practices might seem alien, but then so does drinking Christian blood every Sunday.”

Charlottesville Rally
Invictus planned [00:00:16] and spoke [00:00:48] at the “Unite the Right” rally that took place on August 12, 2017 in Charlottesville, VA. The rally attracted the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) and white separatist League of the South (LS). At this rally, rally leaders clearly chanted [00:00:05] “Jews will not replace us!!”Richard Spencer headlined the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Many protesters brought Confederate flags to the rally.
One neo-Nazi who attended the rally drove his car into a group of counter-protesters, killing one and injuring at least 19 others. Another 14 people were injured in other fighting between white nationalists and leftist counter-protesters.

Sacrificing a Goat and Drinking its Blood
In 2013, Invictus reportedly spent a week fasting and praying while walking from central Florida to the Mojave Desert. Then, in a pagan ritual to give thanks when he returned home, killed a goat and drank its blood.Invictus said:“I did sacrifice a goat.
