Ari Jahiel participated in an anti-Israel event at Harvard University (Harvard) on October 9, 2023.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of May 2025, Ari Jahiel's LinkedIn profile said she had been a field organizer for the anti-Israel group If Not Now (INN) in Boston since April 2022 and had served as INN's strategic visioning co-cordinator from July 2020 to April 2022.
As of the same date, Ari Jahiel's LinkedIn also said she was a college organizer for INN from March 2017 to June 2019 in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area.

The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by drawing a comparison to the Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, meaning “catastrophe.”
