Hatred of Zionists and Israel Supporters

On May 10, 2021, during Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW)” against Hamas in Gaza, James tweeted: “Good morning. Wishing a whole-hearted F**K YOU to every Zionist, every ‘liberal’ Zionist, every Zionist sympathizer, every ‘two sides to this conflict’ sideliner, and every single person who is watching Palestinian genocide unfold and can’t even be bothered with a single RT [retweet].”

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On December 3, 2021, James tweeted: “...F**k Israhell and everyone who supports it, Free Palestine in our lifetime.”

On July 29, 2021, James tweeted: “The absolutely *worst* people I know - the most racist, misogynist, and classist - are huge fans of israhell and amerikkka. Not a coincidence.”

On September 26, 2020, James tweeted, referring to Zionists as “white supremacists.”

Hatred of America

On June 29, 2021, James tweeted: “I hate AmeriKKKa and Israhell so fc***g much. How can you not? How can you see all the horrific violence these settler states cause and not want them to crumble? How?!”

The term “Amerikkka” uses the initials of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) as a way to demonize America as “fascist or racist.”

On May 25, 2021, James tweeted: “F**k AmeriKKKa and Israhell.”

On May 8, 2021, during Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW)” against Hamas in Gaza, James tweeted: “...I pray Israel and AmeriKKKa shrivel up and die. And I pray for a Free Palestine in our lifetime...”

On February 10, 2021, in a podcast titled “What Radicalized You?” by the Push Left Media, James said [00:11:12] that the “U.S. is built on stolen land” and claimed that America spreads violence around the world.

Hatred of Israel

On October 12, 2021, James tweeted that Israel is “maintained through constant violence and discrimination” on “stolen land.”

On September 19, 2021, James tweeted: “Say it with me: israhell has been an apartheid state since it’s inception...”

On June 25, 2021, invoking Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP)’s “Deadly Exchange” campaign, James tweeted: “…Israhell trains the cops killing us. Israhell supplies the tear gas & surveillance tech cops use on us. Israhell tortures & kills Black Palestinians...”

In 2017, JVP launched the “Deadly Exchange (DX)” campaign, which accused American Jewish organizations of promoting human rights abuses. JVP also released a video that blamed [00:04:04] U.S.-based Jewish organizations for violence that occurs against Black and Brown communities, immigrants and activists in the U.S.

On June 14, 2021, James tweeted: “The problem is Israel…a genocidal settler colonial entity that necessitates the destruction and erasure of Palestine and Palestinians…”

On May 21, 2021, during OGW, James tweeted, claiming that Israel was guilty of “the barbaric attempted annihilation of 2.1 million Palestinians in Gaza.”

On May 28, 2020, James tweeted: “Abolish police AND Israel.”

On May 14, 2021, James tweeted: “All power to the Palestinian resistance. Always. Until Zionism, and ‘Israel’, and the need to resistno longer exist.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On August 12, 2019, James tweeted that “the Israeli government is a white supremacist Zionist project which systematically persecutes Palestinians in the same ways black people have been oppressed by white supremacy worldwide.”

Justifying Anti-Israel Violence

On May 12, 2021, James tweeted: “At its core, Zionism is a genocidal ideology. ‘Israel’ as a Jewish state depends on the annihilation and dispossession of the Palestinian people. Palestinians have a right to resist the incessant violence of Zionism by any means necessary, to fight for their lives and their land.”

Spreading Anti-Semitism

On June 24, 2021, James tweeted: “...you fired a Palestinian doctor for stating facts about Israel - which routinely bombs hospitals, kills children, and lets millions languish in Gaza w/out proper healthcare. Sounds like supporting genocide is prerequisite for employment at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.”

James’s tweet was in reference to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s decision to suspend Dr. Fidaa Wishah for her May 26, 2021, Facebook post that called for Israel’s destruction and accused Israel of “cannibalism.”

Dr. Wishah’s post said: “We will uncover your thirst to kill our Palestinian children…A state based on atrocity, inhumanity, racism and cannibalism never lasts long! Hey #israel…your end is coming sooner than you think.”

On June 23, 2021, news outlets and social media accounts reported the hospital temporarily suspended Wishah.

Glorifying Terrorists

On September 26, 2020, James tweeted, referring to terrorist Leila Khaled as a “freedom fighter.”

Leila Khaled is a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.

Also, on September 26, 2020, referring to anti-Israel agitator Nerdeen Kiswani, James tweeted: “Here are Nerdeen’s words, my commentary, and the absurd reasons for [Instagram] removal...”

In the same thread, James tweeted: “...@NerdeenKiswani had a beautiful IG [Instagram] tribute to Palestinian freedom fighter Leila Khaled removed for violating ‘guidelines’. I shared a screenshot to my stories, which was also removed....”

James’s tweet included a photo of a removed Instagram post by Kiswani, in which Kiswani referred to Khaled as “the most empowering and inspiring woman” she had ever known, as well as a “freedom fighter in the struggle for Palestinian liberation” and a “Palestinian revolutionary involved in armed resistance.”

On July 8, 2021, James tweeted: “Israhelli forces assassinated PFLP [Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine] revolutionary Ghassan Kanafani 49 years ago today. But his words are immortal...”

The U.S. State Department has listed the PFLP as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) since 1997, given its history of attacks against civilians, airplane hijackings and suicide bombings.

Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.

Demonizing Zionism

On July 29, 2021, James tweeted: “Cannot stress this enough. Zionism is a genocidal death cult. As in, Zionism literally necessitates the destruction of an entire population. Not just a few murders here and there, but *mass* death and dispossession…”

On September 27, 2020, James tweeted after having her Instagram account suspended for deciding “to talk about Palestine”: “... F**k Zuck [Mark Zuckerberg], Zionism and the Feds.”

On May 20, 2021, James tweeted: “...Zi*nism is depraved, cowardly, genocidal. It disgusts me. Why tf [the f**k] would I want that in my life? Should I befriend the KKK and nazis too?...”

On May 7, 2021, James tweeted: “...Zionism is responsible for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Jerusalem and all of their land since ‘48. Zionism necessitates this violence, settlers & the state enact it…”

Solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayekh

In November 2021, James tweeted, urging people to support Yasmeen Mashayekh who was embroiled in a national controversy over anti-Semitism she spread on social media that year.

In October 2021, Mashayekh was listed as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Senator for USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. In May 2021, she tweeted: "I want to f**king kill every motherf**king Zionist.” She also tweeted: “yel3an el yahood [curse the Jews]😌.”

Mashayekh had also spread violent hatred of Israeli Jews, called for the destruction of Israel and America, expressed support for Hamas and glorified terrorists.

Mashayekh was condemned after Canary Mission exposed her anti-Semitic tweets.

Supporting BDS

On May 22, 2021, James tweeted: “For those learning about how to practice BDS, the Buycott app is a helpful start! Long live Palestine, boycott Israel - Join the campaign! @BuycottApp.”

On December 8, 2021, James tweeted: “Has anyone seen a BDS-compliant list of skin care brands? A couple of the ones I’ve been using are owned by the Lauders - outspoken zionists and huge israhell donors. Time to switch!”

On June 29, 2021, James tweeted: “looking at ‘friends’ who have asked for ‘resources’ to ‘learn more’ about the ongoing genocide in occupied palestine but refuse to spare a retweet…or commit to BDS to interrupt the violence enabled by their tax dollars and silence.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
