Alexander Washburn

Alexander Washburn [Alexander Steven Washburn] was arrested at a pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Connecticut (UConn) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

On April 30, 2024, Alexander Washburn was arrested for first degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct at the UConn encampment, according to records obtained from the UConn Police Department.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of March 2025, Alexander Washburn's LinkedIn profile said he was slated to graduate from UConn with a bachelor's degree in "Communication" in 2024.

Also as of March 2025, Alexander Washburn's LinkedIn profile said he worked part-time as a "Book Seller" at the UConn bookstore and as a "Recreation Supervisor" at New Britain Parks and Recreation.

As of the same date, Alexander Washburn's LinkedIn said he was located in New Britain, Connecticut.

UConn is located in Storrs, Connecticut.
