Aaliyah Raji

Aaliyah Raji was a student government president who reportedly spread antisemitism on campus in late 2023. Raji was recommended for impeachment after a full investigation into accusations of antisemitism in January 2024.

The incidents occurred in the wake of a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The terror attacks left about 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of November 15, 2023, Raji was listed online as the president of the ISGU at IU Bloomington.

Also as of November 15, 2023, Raji was listed online as an undergraduate student representative in the University Faculty Council. As of the same date, Raji was listed online as a student and temporary employee at IU Bloomington.

As of January 2024, Raji’s LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a bachelor’s degree at IU Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business, slated to graduate in 2025.

As of November 15, 2023, Raji’s student government profile said she was majoring in “Finance and LEAD [Law, Ethics, and Decision-Making]” at IU Bloomington. As of September 20, 2023, she reportedly planned “to either apply to law school or pursue a master’s degree in education to invest in future leaders.”
