Zoltan Gluck

Zoltan Gluck [Zoltán Glück] signed an open letter in April 2024 that spread hatred of Israel and promoted activism in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The letter claimed Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists was a “genocidal campaign.”

The profilee's activism occurred during an extended period of global antisemitism that began with the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds. Israel immediately launched a war against Hamas.

The April 2024 letter Zoltan Gluck signed was in support of the anti-Israel and pro-BDS encampment at The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, D.C., where students and outside activists reportedly called for Israel’s destruction. Local media said 33 protesters were arrested, at least six of whom were GW students. GW suspended seven students.

Nearly 200 anti-Israel college encampments were set up in North America in spring 2024. Activists harassed Jews with antisemitic slurs, expressed their support [00:02:45] for Hamas terrorism and called [00:04:45] for Israel's destruction. They blocked Jews from campus facilities and limited access to those with special wristbands or who said they weren't a Zionist.

As of May 2026, Zoltan Gluck's LinkedIn said he was an assistant professor of anthropology at American University (AU), which is in Washington, D.C.
