Sahar Aziz

Sahar Aziz is a Rutgers University law professor who has spread antisemitism, expressed support for Hamas terrorism, promoted hatred of Israel and engaged in anti-Israel activism. She is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of April 2023, Aziz was listed as vice president of the Westfield, New Jersey School Board of Education.
In May 9, 2023, Aziz was the subject of a New Jersey School Ethics Commission investigation into allegations of anti-Semitic conduct, according to a June 2023 article in the Tri-State area news site Jewish Link. Some of the conduct in question included sharing material calling for Israel’s destruction.
In December 2023, My Central Jersey reported that the New Jersey School Ethics Commission decided that Aziz's statements "did not violate the ethics rules because they did not relate to the school district.” The report said that her statements were controversial and “likely to be perceived as offensive and hurtful to members of the district's Jewish community as well as the Jewish community as a whole."
As of September 2024, Aziz was listed as a “Distinguished Professor of Law, and Chancellor's Social Justice Scholar” at Rutgers University Law School (Rutgers Law).
Also as of September 2024, Aziz was listed as the director of the Rutgers Center for Security, Race, and Rights (CSRR). She was further listed as its founding member. As of July 2024, CSRR was under investigation by the Republican majority on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for the center’s pro-terror and anti-Semitic views, as well as the events it organized.
As of September 2024, Aziz’s LinkedIn profile said she received a JD from the University of Texas School of Law in 2004. She also graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) with a master’s degree in Middle East studies and law in 2001.
Also as of September 2024, Aziz’s LinkedIn said she was located in Newark, New Jersey.
