Yassine Sellami participated in the pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists, launched after the October 7, 2023 terror attacks.

As of January 2025, Yassine Sellami's LinkedIn profile said he was studying for a doctorate in educational leadership and management at Drexel University (Drexel), slated to graduate in June 2027. Drexel is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
As of the same date, Yassine Sellami's LinkedIn said he was the founder and CEO of Auxilium Global Solutions Inc.

April 28, 2024, was Day 4 of the "Gaza Solidarity Encampment" at Penn, which was set up to protest Israel's war against Hamas. The Penn encampment was set up by students from Penn, Temple University and Drexel University. PPC also helped promote the encampment, which was part of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
