Violent Hatred of Israel

On May 11, 2021, Alshara tweeted in support of violent riots against Israeli police, stating: “Im al fa7m [Umm Al-Fahm] living up to her name let it allllllllllllll burn🔥.”

Umm al-Fahm is an Arab-majority city in Israel and its name means “Mother of Charcoal,” in Arabic. Alshara’s tweet referred to a post that translated: “#Urgent (news from) Hebrew Channel 12: Several police stations were set on fire in Umm al-Fahm and Rahat in the occupied inside territories.”

On May 11, 2021, during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW) against Hamas, riots broke out in Israeli cities with large Arab populations. Rioters in Umm al-Fahm, Rahat and Lod reportedly set cars and police stations on fire. Nearly 300 protesters gathered in Umm al-Fahm, where some reportedly called on Hamas to strike Tel-Aviv.

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

Alshara retweeted a May 11, 2021 tweet from anti-Israel activist Dunia Ghanimah that read: “PALESTINIANS ARE SETTING THE ISRAELI POLICE STATIONS ON FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼BURN THEM ALL DOWN!!!!!!!!”

Calling for Violence

On April 18, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “How can u be Palestinian and a cop I wanna fight yall you disgust me and are my least favorite ppl [people] in America.”

On February 27, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “I hope all the motherf**kers in highland park and Prestonwood or whatever the f**k it's called all also burn in hell with Ted Cruz and the rest of these useless a** people. Eat the rich !” In the same thread, she then added: “Or in this case burn them for warmth.”

Highland Park and Prestonwood are affluent parts of the Dallas metropolitan area and Ted Cruz is a U.S. Senator from Texas.

On August 24, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “Abolish prisons and policing and let survivors, the families of victims, etc. drop the pigs [cops] into vats of acid.”

On March 14, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “One day, whether it be in this life or the next, I will find a way to strangle Jeff bezos with my bare hands and watch his eyes pop out of his head and I will enjoy every second of it.” Jeff Bezos is the founder of Amazon.com.

On February 20, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “My Egyptian coworker is the only Arab man I've ever met and not wanted to punch in the throat.”

On August 27, 2019, Alshara tweeted: “Not sure if y'all already know this but I would like to commit a genocide against ALL men.”

On November 11, 2015, Alshara tweeted: “If my child isn't a socialist I'll punch it in the throat.”

Supporting Terrorists

On May 19, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “how many times do we share the video of ghassan Kanafani talking about how there can't be a conversation between the sword and the neck? I don't think it's productive to demonize any and all forms of violence. Some form of violence against a colonialist regime is necessary.”

Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.

Alshara retweeted a May 14, 2021 tweet with a video of an armed terrorist reading a declaration in Arabic, while surrounded by other armed militants. The beginning of the declaration translated into English: “All the armed factions, including Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and Yasser Arafat Brigade, declare Nablus free of occupation … ”

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade is the armed wing of Fatah, the main group in the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The Brigade has been listed as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the U.S. State Department since March 2002 and was responsible for multiple suicide bombings [00:13:37] during the second intifada, in 2002-2004.

On August 12, 2020 Alshara shared a screenshot of a tweet from the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) Twitter account, talking about the danger of incendiary balloons coming from Gaza. Alshara tweeted:“I don't know how Twitter even allows the IDF twitter to exist and post harmful tweets like this. Ppl in Gaza live in the worst conditions in what's virtually an open air prison and they still post propaganda like this. Just say you want to commit a genocide and f**king go.”

Throughout 2018, Palestinians on the Gaza border assembled hundreds of kites, condoms and balloons equipped with incendiary devices and explosives, and launched them into Israel. The various incendiary devices caused thousands of fires as well as millions of dollars of damage.

On November 25, 2016, Alshara tweeted an image of Yasser Arafat holding hands with Fidel Castro, that featured text in Arabic and Spanish that translated into English: “Palestine and Cuba: United in the same trench against imperialism and zionism.” Alshara captioned the post: “f**k imperialism f**k zionism.”

Yasser Arafat was the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Arafat reportedly told Arab diplomats in a secret meeting in 1996: "We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion. Jews will not want to live among Arabs. I have no use for Jews. They are and remain Jews."

Defending Hamas

On May 24, 2015 Alshara tweeted:“Just like killing a member of Hamas isn't terrorism however the IDF killing 500 innocent children is terrorism without a doubt but whatever.”

On May 24, 2015, Alshara tweeted: “Ok calling Hamas a full blown terrorist group is hardly fair. They act as government and military for a people who have nothing else.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

On May 4, 2015, Alshara tweeted: “Hamas has acted out of line before but you know who has been even more out of line? The Israeli defense forces. Those are terrorists.”

On the same day, Alshara tweeted: “If people saw Hamas as a military then it might make more sense why their actions aren't terroristic but rather defensive.”

On February 8, 2015 Alshara tweeted: “If Palestinians should stop supporting Hamas, Israelis should stop supporting the IDF and their political parties.”

On August 3, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Alshara tweeted that “Hamas is the only 1 doing anything for Gaza.”

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

Also on August 3, 2014, Alshara tweeted: “@isralways Hamas didn't even kill those boys Israel admitted it. Israel entered under false pretenses and they provoked Hamas.”

In August 2014, Hamas admitted responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers at a bus stop on June 12th of that year. The bodies of the abducted boys were found buried in Palestinian-controlled territory on June 30, 2014.

On July 31, 2014, Alshara tweeted: “They get p**sed when Hamas shoots rockets indiscriminately (sry [sorry] they dont have the $ & resources) but Israel can hit anything ‘accidentally’."

Calling for the Destruction of Israel

On September 9, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Goofy embarrassing and racist behavior Free Palestine!!!! And down with the Israeli Zionist genocidal settler colonial state!@customink.”

On December 8, 2020 Alshara tweeted: “Ya ideally I would want to see the state of Israel cease to exist so if me rallying around a national identity bc my identity is otherwise reduced to being generally arab and is presented that way to further the erasure of my people then I guess I'm a nationalist lol.”

On November 19, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “Zionist's are too busy SETTLING the West Bank instead of SETTLING the Palestinian Israeli conflict by getting THE FUCK out of Palestine from the river aaalllllll the way to the sea b**ch.”

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.

On October 24, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “I say this with a lot of intention... death to Israel.” She embedded a link to a tweet showing an Israeli bulldozer destroying the home of a terrorist who had murdered IDF sergeant Ronen Lubarsky.

On October 24, 2019 Alshara shared a tweet about Israel destroying the home of a terrorist who murdered IDF sergeant Ronen Lubarsky. She tweeted: “I say this with a lot of intention... death to Israel.”

Spreading Anti-Semitism

On January 28, 2015 Alshara tweeted: “Israeli Jewish privilege allows you to run bus ads that basically say ‘everyone is our bitch’. Think Abbas, Obama, anybody really.”

On December 16, 2014, Alshara tweeted: “Watch out Turkey, the zionists are after you too. Zionist Jews should just own the whole world while they're at it.”

Alshara’s tweet included a screenshot of another tweet that read: “Tragic. Jews have a history in #Turkey longer than vast majority of current residents.”

On the same date Alshara tweeted: “Btw [By the way], I see zionist Jews how I see the kkk. Both claim to belong to a religion they probably know nothing about except supremacy.”

Hatred of Zionists

On October 15, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “I wish liberal Zionists would just drop the act at this point and just admit they want us all dead or gone.”

On August 1, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “No not white Zionists who's skin boils in the Palestinian sun trying to call us squatters like y'all do not belong to that land cause it clearly wants u dead☀️💫😵.”

Also on August 1, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Zionists are all literal psychopaths and I can't wait to see u all in hell.”

On July 3, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Currently in the middle of planning filling my cubicle with as much Palestine themed s**t as possible and leading the Zionist I work with who's wife regularly fundraises for the idf and making him so mad he hate crimes me and I can somehow get him fired for said hate crime.”

On May 11, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “While I'm suspended. Go eat some Pile of poo 💩you Rat🐀,” in response to a tweet that read: “Pray for Israel.”

On May 7, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “I assure you zionists have never wanted peace. Go to Palestine. Live in the Palestinian Territories and witness how settlers treat us. Live our lives for a couple of months and you'll undoubtedly know what's really going on.”

Hatred of Israelis

On May 28, 2021, Alshara tweeted: ”Since y'all love turkey so much tell them to stop letting ugly a** Israelis in for their cheap nose jobs ! Just a random thought !”

On May 9, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “I refuse to call them palestinians but seriously I extend my sincerest curses to the Arabs in the IOF. I can't imagine living in such a deep state of self hatred. Y'all are absolutely ridiculous and embarassing.”

“IOF” stands for Israeli Occupation Forces, a derogatory name used by anti-Israel activists to demonize Israel’s army in place of its official name, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

On January 29, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “...israel is clearly an oppressive occupying power and saying you have friends on both sides is weird lol. Israelis aren't civilians, majority of them serve in the IDF which is a murderous institution.”

On July 1, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “Israelis care more about animals than literal human beings and I hate it here ... can y'all like .... work on holding Israel accountable for its genocide against Palestinians before making stupid meat substitutes.”

On June 1, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “Brave Palestinians steal and loot from Israelis in nearby settlements, bc [because] they deserve it. If you're against ‘stealing’ in all forms unfollow me. It's a valid form of resistance.”

On December 29, 2017, Alshara tweeted: “My nephew is throwing things at me when he should be in Palestine throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.”

Although romanticized as a form of “popular resistance,” rock throwing remains a deadly form of violence

Hatred of Zionism

On May 28, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Zionism's end goal is absolutely to invade and wipe us out. The answer is truly right there.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On June 3, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “no one cares what your Zionism because you don't get to redefine a genocidal colonial term as the oppressor!”

On November 26, 2016 Alshara posted a picture of Cuban communist leader Fidel Castro holding hands with former PLO leader Yasser Arafat. She tweeted: “f**k imperialism f**k zionism.”

On May 15, 2016, Alshara posted to Facebook: “Today marks the 68th anniversary of Yawn an-Nakba, or Day of the Catastrophe. This day remembers the forced displacement of over 700,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands in preparation for the formation of Israel. Israelis celebrate their independence on the 12th and we remember our catastrophe on the 15th.”

The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.

On February 28, 2016, Alshara posted on Facebook: “Very upset that that picture is tagged as being in Israel and I don't know how to change it and I kind of wanna cry because Jerusalem is not in Israel, OK.”

On July 15, 2015 Alshara tweeted: “#GrowingUpIsraeli not actually being Israeli but moving there cuz Netanyahu begs you to cause youre a white Jew while my family get expelled.”

Supporting Anti-Israel Agitators

On May 9, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “Ilhan Omar is the first person I can say I genuinely look up to and I'm not even being funny. I've always been cynical as many ppl rightfully are but she continually reaffirms why I love and support her. Truly a force of good in our world today.”

Ilhan Omar was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2018. In February 2019, top Congressional leaders denounced Omar for tweeting anti-Semitic remarks.Omar has demonized Israel and endorsed BDS. In July 2019, Omar introduced a pro-BDS resolution in the U.S. Congress, which she described as “an opportunity for us to explain why it is we support…the BDS movement.”

On May 4, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “Palestinians are essentially executed by the IDF on a daily basis with absolute and total impunity and god forbid Palestinians or politicians like Ilhan try to stop that meanwhile this sort of truly frightening and dangerous speech is allowed???”

On February 12, 2019 Alshara tweeted: “I know I shouldn't entertain stuff like this but it's just annoying sometimes and hard to deal with. Women like Ilhan Omar get called anti-semites for the most tame criticisms but ppl constantly slander us and erase us and call us murderers and terrorists and I'm tired.”

On December 20, 2015, Alshara posted a defense of the Holy Land Foundation and the “Holy Land 5 (HL5)”to Facebook, calling it a charity organization and denying any claims of foul play or terror support.

The HLF5 were five individuals associated with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) indicted for funnelling funds to Hamas in the guise of humanitarian aid.

The men were were all convicted and sentenced in 2009 to federal prison terms ranging from 15 to 65 years.

On January 10, 2016 Alshara shared a video from media outlet AJ+ about anti-Israel NGO Breaking the Silence

In July 2016, Breaking the Silence (BTS) was discredited by Israel’s investigative Channel 10 TV show, HaMakor (The Source). HaMakor presented a report revealing that a substantial number of BTS testimonies are untrue or distorted.

Spreading Bigotry

On January 8, 2017, Alshara tweeted: “L O L SPEAKING OF ‘ACCIDENTS’ I WANT U ALL TO KNOW I HATE MY LIFE AND DONT TRUST WHITE PEOPLE.”

On November 1, 2017, Alshara tweeted: “Twin peaks is entertaining but all these yt [white] ppl look the same to me.”

On March 14, 2019, Alshara tweeted: “I'm not sorry and I mean full offense when I say this. Many white people are very racist and very evil and very sick and the level of their vileness when they are committed to is unparalleled.”

On August 8, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Ya I'm getting a gun soon... white ppl gonna realize real quick they can't scare me if we are both strapped tf [the f**k] up b**ch!”

On October 19, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “White women wearing evil eye necklaces but refusing to learn how to pronounce Iraq or Iran bc [because] ‘that's now how we say it in English’ ... may the fires of jahannam [hell] burn extra hot just for you dusty b**ches.”

Promoting Incitement

On May 10, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “Do y'all see what is happening in al aqsa right now? And there nerve so many of you have trying to silence and speak over Palestinians constantly. You're all f**king complicit. F**k Zionism, f**k Israel, and f**k all of our fake allies.”

In May 2021, violent clashes broke out between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli police at the Al-Aqsa compound following claims the Al-Aqsa Mosque was in danger. The subsequent incitement was a leading factor in Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists firing over 4,300 rockets from Gaza into Israel later that month. Israel responded by launching “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW),” carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza. Allegations of Jews “threatening” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque have been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews predating the State of Israel.

On May 11, 2021, Alshara shared a Facebook post that had a video and the caption: “Israelis dance, sing, cheer, and celebrate as trees in front of Al-Aqsa mosque are set on fire, all while Israel brutalizes thousands of Palestinians, while settlers attempt to steal Palestinian homes in Sheikh Jarrah, and while Israel bombs Gaza, killing children. This is the lived reality of Palestinians under apartheid.”

In May 2021, social media erupted with videos allegedly showing Jews dancing and cheering while a tree burned near the Al-Aqsa mosque. The fire was reportedly caused by Palestinian rioters shooting fireworks at Israeli police. Jews had gathered at the Western Wall in honor of Jerusalem Day, an Israeli national holiday, with no connection to the incident.

In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Alshara retweeted a May 23, 2021 tweet from anti-Israel activist Yasmeen Mashayekh that read: “The first moments of tens of settlers storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque under great protection of the IOF [Israeli Occupying Forces].”

May 23, 2021 was the first day that Jews were allowed to visit the Temple Mount, since it was closed to Jewish visitors nearly three weeks earlier.

Palestinians and anti-Israel activists have historically described visits by Jews to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as “incursions” during which Jews purportedly “storm” the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians have also frequently used the mosque to stockpile stone slabs, fireworks and rocks, with which they attack Israeli security officers and non-Muslim visitors to the Temple Mount.

Demonizing Israel

As of December 12, 2021, Alshara had an undated image posted to the “intro” section on her Facebook page showing her holding a sign that read: “Stop the PROPAGANDA Stop the GENOCIDE Stop the OCCUPATION FREE PALESTINE & SAVE GAZA!”

On February 25, 2021 Alshara tweeted: “Ah yes, israel, the same state that collectively punishes Palestinians due to israels own undeniable racism and islamophobia and the same Israel that has ppl marching in the streets telling black Jews to go back to Africa is definitely not evil at all!”

On February 22, 2021 Alshara tweeted: “Ya ya it's palestinians faults for not trusting the same govt to shoot them up with vaccines as if the same apartheid state didn't sterilize Jewish Ethiopian women... ya ya it's definitely the Palestinians at fault here. You f**king genocidal maniacs never cease to amaze me.”

On January 29, 2021 Alshara responded to a conservation about a rapper who said he has friends on "both" sides of the Israel/Palestine issue and tweeted: “The intentions were good I'm sure but there was a bit of ignorance on display as israel is clearly an oppressive occupying power and saying you have friends on both sides is weird lol. Israelis aren't civilians, majority of them serve in the IDF which is a murderous institution.”

On November 24, 2020 Alshara tweeted: “When was I anti Semitic? I joked about the KKK not being racist when I know that they are. You decided to be goofy and say Israel isn't an apartheid state when I have LIVED through it. You may not think it's an apartheid state bc you think Palestinians don't deserve rights?

She then tweeted: “I can call you a racist for being a staunch apartheid denier.”

Imagine that we currently spend generations in Occupation with non Palestinians drafting laws against us and having israeli solider kill us-”

On May 14, 2018, she tweeted: “The day of the nakba, or the catastrophe, is called that for a reason. Palestinians were forced out of their lands and homes to create one of the most evil and hypocritical entities in existence, otherwise known as Israel +.”

On July 10, 2015  Alshara tweeted: “White Jews are essentially begged to move to Israel and black Jews who seek refuge in their "Jewish haven" aren't welcome bc they're black.”

On June 9, 2015, Alshara tweeted: “If Iran should act like a normal country it should start enacting apartheid and child murder to be like the most normal aka [also known as] Israel.”

Hatred of America

On July 4, 2021, Alshara tweeted: “If you posted something saying happy 4th you're so embarrassing and I hope u break a bone today♥️.”

On March 16, 2021 Alshara tweeted: “Not Zionists on here saying they made Palestine fertile or whatever as if they haven't forced my family and so many others to stop farming and agriculture by letting their settlers uproot our olive trees and steal our farms and encroach on our farm land so we can't use it.”

On November 11, 2020 Alshara tweeted: “Telling Palestinians to fight for crumbs from the US government is silly and trusting corporatist centrist Zionist democrats to follow up on their commitment to give us crumbs is silly.”

On June 22, 2020 Alshara tweeted: “It's funny that these baby zionists are claiming the creations of Israel is some diving act of "decolonization" as if a mass genocide and erasure isn't being committed agains palestinians who have been in the land for hundreds and hundreds of years.............. Your family is from Europe ........ pls sit down.”

On January 7, 2016, Alshara posted an article about a high schooler who was “Called To The Principal's Office ‘For Being Anti-Israel’ On Twitter.” According to the article, the student tweeted things like “Israel is a terrorist force” and “Hamas is not extreme: Hamas is just painted that way Hateful rhetoric against Hamas is what allowed the Gaza bombing.”

Alshara commented: “So sorry the attempted genocide of my people makes people feel bullied. How dare we criticize the state that carries out the murderous erasure of my people!”

On November 16, 2015, Alshara posted a video to Facebook showing a confrontation at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) where members of their SJP including Mohammed Nabulsi disrupted a pro-Israel event on campus, aiming to shout down the speakers before storming out. Alshara wrote “Pro-Palestinian free speech has been systemically denied in this country and in universities and here you have zionists assaulting members of UT's Palestinian Solidarity Committee...Not only are zionists getting away with unwarranted aggression in Palestine they're doing it on our campuses too.”

Supporting BDS

On August 20, 2020 Alshara tweeted: “I don't even particularly like Linda Sarsour but y'all can still eat my a*s bc being pro Palestinian and pro bds isn't hateful rhetoric y'all are so annoying.”

On July 7, 2020, Alshara tweeted: “If you've ever spoken to or known a palestinian then you'd know why BDS is important. Boycotting divesting and sanctioning is a necessary step in order to hold the Israeli gov responsibly while also not allowing them to produce propoganda from these performances.”

On January 8, 2017 Alshara tweeted “If you want to make suggestions about a "peaceful" resistsance I'm gonna very unkindly ask you to shut the f**k up.” She followed that by tweeting: “We tried BDS. That was apparently extremely antisemitic and hateful. You ppl don't want *any* resistance let alone a peaceful one.”

On May 23, 2016, Alshara shared an article to Facebook from Electronic Intifada about the BDS-led boycott of Airbnb. She shared another video to Facebook about the boycott the same day.

In November 2018, Airbnb announced that it would remove 200 listings in Israel’s West Bank from the Airbnb platform, due to pressure from BDS activists. In April 2019, Airbnb reversed its decision and allocated profits from the region to non-profit organizations dedicated to humanitarian aid.

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus.
