Overview
Waiel Yaghnam has spread anti-Semitism, expressed support for terrorism and promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. He has also equated Israel with Nazi Germany and spread hatred of Israel and Zionists.He is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of June, 2018, Yaghnam’s Facebook page said he “studied” at St. Louis Community College (SLCC) and was “self employed” since “May 1999 to present.” In November 2017, Yaghnam’s Facebook page said he was the “Owner-operator” at Dime Brokers.
On June 25, 2014, Yaghnam posted an ad on Instagram, indicating that he worked with Legacy Financial Group (LFG), in St. Louis, MO..
Anti-Semitism
On May 25, 2018, Yaghnam tweeted: “Palestinians are real Semites. Most Zionists are Khazars. They just claim Semites because of the region we originate... Persia!”The “Khazar myth” refers to the assertion that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites but instead come from the Khazar People, whose ruling class was said to have converted to Judaism. One way anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to promote the Khazar myth to deny [00:02:16] Israel’s legitimacy through the denial of Jewish ancestry and Jews’ connection to the Land of Israel.
On January 19, 2018, Yaghnam tweeted: “masjed al-aqsa is mentioned & youre not real Jews. The fact that Trump recognized it make it meaningless.”

On October 5, 2015, Yaghnam shared an image on Instagram of Fadi Aloon with a caption that read: “MY NAME IS FADI, I’M 19 YEARS OLD I WAS BEING PURSUED BY ISRAELI SETTLERS. SO I RUSHED TO THE ISRAELI POLICE FOR HELP THEY SHOT ME DEAD.”

Support for Terrorism
Yaghnam has shared several images on social media, supporting Palestinian terrorists.On October 5, 2015, Yaghnam shared an image on Instagram of Fadi Aloon with a caption that read: “MY NAME IS FADI, I’M 19 YEARS OLD I WAS BEING PURSUED BY ISRAELI SETTLERS. SO I RUSHED TO THE ISRAELI POLICE FOR HELP THEY SHOT ME DEAD.”
Fadi Aloon was shot by Israeli security forces after he stabbed a 15-year-old Israeli boy. Several hours before the attack, Aloon posted “Either martyrdom or victory” on his Facebook page.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared in 2019, that “In a future war, all of occupied Palestine will be struck by our rockets.” Nasrallah also called on Jews living in Israel, in 2017, “to leave Palestine and go back to the countries from which they came.”
In 2013, Nasrallah referred [00:00:19] to Israel as a cancerous tumor and in 2002,
Nasrallah said: “If they (Jews) all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.” He also declared: “If we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like the Jew. Notice, I do not say the Israeli.”
Nasrallah also said in 1998 that Israel was: “‘the state of the grandsons of apes and pigs - the Zionist Jews.”

Yasser Arafat was the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Under Arafat, the goal of the PLO was the violent destruction of Israel.

BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
