Surendar Rao

Surendar Rao is a family doctor who defended Hamas terrorists, called for Israel’s destruction and spread antisemitic conspiracy theories on social media in late 2023 and early 2024.

Rao published his remarks in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Rao is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of February 25, 2024, Rao was listed online as a family medicine specialist located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Also as of February 25, 2024, Rao, who also goes by Surendar Gajendra Rao, was listed in the National Provider Identifier (NPI) online directory, NPI number 1134450869. In the same directory, he was licensed for family medicine in Texas, license number EP10034290, for family medicine in Wisconsin, license number 62640-20 and for general practice in Florida, license numbers ACN702 and ME136965.
