Shira Frank participated in the anti-Israel encampment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2024 during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of May 2025, Shira Frank’s LinkedIn said she was director of Maiden Labs and the owner of B. Frank Consulting. She worked at MIT Media Lab from 2020-2023.
As of July 2025, Shira Frank's LinkedIn said she had worked as the deputy director of J Street from March 2010 to February 2017. Her LinkedIn said she also worked as the executive director of the Jewish LGBTQ Donor Network between 2024 and 2025.
