Shaun Mulville

Overview

Shaun Mulville [Shaun Thomas Mulville] hung anti-Semitic banners and performed the Nazi salute in Irvine, California, in 2021. He also hung white supremacist banners from a highway overpass in Costa Mesa, California as an activist [00:00:15] with the White Lives Matter (WLM) group in 2022.

Mulville engaged in anti-Semitic activism [01:08:10] in 2021 with Robert Wilson, a lead activist of the Goyim Defense League (GDL).

The GDL is a neo-Nazi hate group active since at least 2018. It is led by co-founder Jon Minadeo and is headquartered in Palm Bay, Florida. The group recruits [00:29:50] an extensive network of activists who distribute thousands of anti-Semitic flyers throughout America.

As of May 2024, Mulville indicated on his Gab header photo that he was affiliated with the white supremacist network Active Club.

Also as of May 2024, Mulville was a member of the WhiteDate (WD) dating website where he had the username “MillenialHonkey89.” He was part of the “BlackShirts & BrownShirts” public group which was for “Fascist (blackshirts) and National Socialists (brownshirts) and all right-leaning brothers & Sisters that are sick of being banned from the usual social media sites run by ZOG (Zionist Controlled Govt).”

ZOG stands for Zionist Occupied Government, an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that claims Jews secretly control Western governments. The phrase is frequently used by anti-Semitic and white nationalist groups.

As of May 2024, Mulville’s Bandcamp profile said he was located in Ventura, California.

As of the same date, Mulville went by the username “MillenialHonkey89” and the handle “@Calicutthoat” on Gab. He also used the handle “@MillenialHonkey” on Telegram.

11/13/2021 - GDL Anti-Semitic Banner Drop in California

On November 13, 2021, Mulville hung [photo 2] anti-Semitic banners from an overpass on the 405 freeway in Irvine, California and performed [01:07:54] a Nazi salute. Mulville can be seen [photo 2] in the picture wearing a black beanie hat, with a skull mask and a black shirt that said: “Order of the New Templars…” He also appeared [01:07:54] on top of a yellow ladder performing a Nazi salute.

Mulville joined Wilson and other GDL activists in hanging banners that promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and also had white supremacist slogans.

One of the banners read [01:08:05]: “WHY ARE JEWS REPLACING THEIR ‘LIBERATORS’? TREACHERY OF MARXIST JEWS… HART-(((CELLER))) 1965 ✡️ TREASON ✡️ BRIBERY ✡️ JEWISH DECEIT. ACCESS TO WHITES IS NOT A HUMAN RIGHT.”

The Hart-Celler Act is a U.S. federal immigration law passed in 1965 that removed discrimination against certain “non-white” groups, which had been in place since the 1920s and aimed at preserving American racial homogeneity by promoting white immigration from Western and Northern Europe.

The use of triple parentheses, known as “echoes,” has been adopted by anti-Semites, such as neo-Nazis and white nationalists, to stigmatize and target individuals of Jewish background for online harassment.

Another banner said [photo 2]: “HONK IF WHITE LIVES MATTER.”

The third banner was placed [01:10:50] at the side of the embankment where the overpass slopes up the hill. The sign said [01:11:40]: “STOP JEWISH SUPREMACY. ✡️MEDIA ✡️ BANKING ✡️ GOVERNMENT. NOTICING AKA ‘ANTISEMITISM’ IS A HEALTHY SOCIETY’S IMMUNE RESPONSE TO A PARASITIC INFECTION.”

The assertion that Jews secretly control the Western governments through banking and finance is traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a fabricated anti-Semitic text that portrays wealthy Jews as conspiring to take over the world. This anti-Semitic conspiracy theory has often employed the imagery from Nazi cartoons that depict Jews as octopuses encircling the globe.

4/23/2022 - White Supremacist Banner Drop in California

On April 23, 2022, Mulville, along with five WLM [00:00:15] activists, hung [00:00:03] white supremacist banners. The event took place on an overpass on the 55 freeway in Costa Mesa, California. Mulville wore [00:00:35] a green long-sleeved shirt, a gray baseball hat and a scarf covering his face.

The banners said: “WE MUST SECURE THE EXISTENCE OF OUR PEOPLE AND A FUTURE FOR WHITE CHILDREN”  and “HONK IF WHITE LIVES MATTER…”

“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children” is a white supremacist slogan created by infamous neo-Nazi and domestic terrorist David Lane.

The group was confronted by a group of local counter-protesters and reporters. Costa Mesa police arrived shortly at the scene and requested that the signs be removed.
