Overview

Shada Musa [Shada Raed Musa] has spread hatred of Israel supporters, America and the police. Musa has also demonized Israel and is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of August 2022, Musa was listed with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) as a Registered Nurse in Ohio. Her license number was 512890 and it was issued on 8/4/2022 and was slated to expire on 10/31/2023.

As of August 2022, Musa’s LinkedIn page said she was a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, since August 2022.

As of the same date, Musa’s LinkedIn said she received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing (UC College of Nursing) in 2022. Her LinkedIn also said she was located in the “Cincinnati Metropolitan Area.”

As of August 2022, Musa used the handle “@shadathehabla” on Twitter.

Hatred of Israel Supporters

On May 11, 2021, Musa tweeted: “if you side with Israel or defend their vile actions against Palestinians you have absolutely no soul and lack basic humanity.”

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW),” carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On May 14, 2021, Musa tweeted: “big facts

and anyone who is neutral on the subject is pro-isr*el idc [I don’t care], no one with their right mind would see what’s happening and still defend a genocide thats happening in front of our eyes!!!”

Hatred of America and Police

On July 4, 2022, U.S. Independence Day, Musa tweeted: “would rather get run over than celebrate this god forsaken country [U.S.].”

On November 19, 2021, Musa tweeted: “as always I’m absolutely disgusted by americas so called ‘justice system’ burn it to the ground.”

On April 20, 2021, Musa tweeted: “ACAB.”

“ACAB” is an acronym that stands for “All cops are bastards.”

Demonizing Israel

Musa retweeted a May 7, 2021 tweet that claimed “... israeli forces are turning al aqsa into an all-out assault zone on palestinians…”

On May 7-10, 2021, violent clashes broke out between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli police at the Al-Aqsa compound, following claims that Al-Aqsa Mosque was in danger. The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy Al-Aqsa has been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state.

Musa retweeted a May 10, 2021 tweet that read: “Palestinians are being bombed and shot at by the IOF rn [right now]. Ambulances are being prevented from entry....this is Zionism.”

“Israeli Occupation Forces,” or “IOF,” is a derogatory name for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) used by anti-Israel activists to demonize Israel’s army.

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

Supporting BDS

On May 29, 2021, Musa tweeted: “not my customers talking about how the BDS movement is a terrorist organization….. someone hold me back i can’t deal with these ignorant white mfers [motherf**kers] anymore.”

On July 19, 2021, Musa tweeted in support of Ben & Jerry’s pursuing a full boycott of Israel instead of the company’s pledge to “end sales of our ice cream in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.” Musa wrote in her tweet: “this is still a win regardless but we’re still boycotting

.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
