Overview
Sean Thaher has praised Hitler, equated Israel with Nazi Germany, spread anti-Semitism and promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. He has shown support for Hamas, cheered for terrorism, expressed violent hatred of Zionists and spread hatred of Israel.Thaher is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Praising Hitler
On July 30, 2014, Thaher tweeted: “...god bless Hitler , that's all I can say..”On the same day, Thaher tweeted: “so you might like it if I sayhitler didn't finish the job, or maybe he wants the world to know more about Zionists.”
On August 3, 2014, Thaher tweeted: “be compared? They [Israel] are much worse than Nazi... God bless hitler and nazis.”
Equating Israel with Nazi Germany
On December 23, 2018, Thaher tweeted: “With all the crimes and genocides this apartheid Zionist regime commit on daily bases, left no room for forgiveness and peace. We are sick and tired of seeing this happening to innocent #Palestinians. This is what you call it #PalestinianHolocaust . This is the real #holocaust.”Thaher added: “The Palestine holocaust Is not fake holocaust..... if you know what I mean .”

Thaher’s tweet was in response to a tweet by Friends of the IDF (FIDF), that read: “This year, we celebrate 70 years of an independence Israel. Honor the service and sacrifice of IDF soldiers today.”

Thaher’s tweet juxtaposed a promotional image from the movie Schindler’s List, with a Jewish girl wearing a red coat during the Holocaust, with an image of a Palestinian girl, wearing a red frock, among Israeli soldiers. The caption on the first image read: “NAZI GERMANY1940S” and on the secong image: “NAZI ISRAEL NOW.”

On January 8, 2019, Thaher tweeted: “Rubio crock. He gets paid under the table to make Israel looks a peaceful country . On May 17, 2018, Thaher tweeted: “Is this the American culture you’re talking about .. you people are slaves to those Zionists.
The tweet included a graphic featuring Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu riding on a photo-shopped image of U.S. President Donald Trump’s back. The image showed President Trump as a pig.
On October 31, 2017, Thaher tweeted: “The #congressmen who gets bribed and #Israel are behind the #Kennedy’s #assassination.”
On September 14, 2017, Thaher tweeted a petition by Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), demanding an end to U.S. police exchanges with Israel law enforcement, that read: “#apparthied #ocupation Sign petition asking @ADL_National to end its deadly exchanges http://bit.ly/2fcqrDW .”
In 2017, JVP launched the “Deadly Exchange” (DX) campaign, accusing American Jewish organizations of promoting human rights abuses by coordinating exchange programs between American and Israeli security personnel to advance “worst practices" and racist policies. The campaign blamed [00:04:04] Jewish organizations for violence against Black and Brown communities, immigrants and activists in the U.S.

Glorifying Terrorism
On August 4, 2014, Thaher tweeted: “make those Zionists feel the pain . Put their lives in hell inshaa Allah [Please God].”The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades is the military wing of Hamas.
On the same day, Thaher tweeted: “Hamas Hereros are taking care of the Zionists cowards. While the new era of Zionists Nazis celebrating.”
Also on August 4, 2014, Thaher tweeted: “Hamas members are pure Palestinians. They defending their country from those invaders ..”
In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
On October 3, 2015, Thaher tweeted: “@IsraelHatzolah is it ok for terrorists Zionists to kill innocent people, but it's not allowed to others.”
The tweet was in response to a tweet that read: “FACE OF TERROR: Arabs terrorist (19) from Ramallah who killed 2 & wounded mother & baby shot dead following attack.” The tweet featured photos of Mohanad Halabi.
On October 3, 2015, during Israel’s “Knife Intifada,” 19-year-old Mohanad Halabi murdered two Israeli rabbis in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem’s Old City. The wife and child of one of the victims were also injured. The day before the murder, Halabi, a member of the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), had reportedly posted to his Facebook page: “The third Intifada is here"and "Wake up from your slumber and save al-Aqsa. Let the revolution erupt.”
Thaher also tweeted “@IsraelHatzolah I think this intifada will be completely different from the two before . Will make Zionists facing a real issue” and added: “@IsraelHatzolah terror created by Zionists , everyone knows, now let's what so called Israel deal with the 3rd intifada .”

Thaher’s tweet was in response to a tweet that claimed: “16 y/o #Palestinian Fatima Hajiji is laid to rest. Her grandmother carrying her tiny body that was showered w/ 20+ bullets by IOF on 5/7.”
Fatima Hajiji was reportedly shot at multiple times after she tried to stab Israeli Police officers at the Damascus gate to the Old City of Jerusalem.

Support for BDS

BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
