Saidi Moseley’s Support for the Pro-Hamas Encampment at Columbia University (Columbia), Leading a Rally in Support of Hamas Terrorist War Crimes
Saidi Moseley [Saidi R. Moseley] co-led a rally supporting Hamas terrorist war crimes in October 2023 in New York, New York.Saidi Moseley also led chants at and showed support for the pro-Hamas encampment at Columbia in April 2024.
The rally occurred following a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Leading a Rally in Support of Hamas Terrorist War Crimes
On October 8, 2023, Moseley co-led [photo 1] a rally in Times Square, New York City in support of Hamas, titled: “All Out For Palestine.” She spoke as the education coordinator for The People’s Forum (TPF), a co-organizer of the rally.Moseley stood [00:01:34] on the rally platform and chanted [00:02:02]: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” and [00:02:35]: “Hey, hey, ho, ho, Zionism has got to!” Moseley held [00:03:14] signs that read: “Free All Palestinian Prisoners” and “End All U.S. Aid to Apartheid Israel!”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
Activists repeatedly celebrated the mass murder of Israeli civilians. They stomped on [00:00:01] and burned [00:00:21] Israeli flags. Speakers led [00:17:43] calls for Israel’s violent destruction and celebrated [00:20:45] Hamas firing rockets at Israeli cities and the taking [00:27:27] of hostages.
Hamas intentionally targeted youth centers and elementary schools to execute and kidnap children. They also took stimulant drugs to give added energy to murder and maim. Nazis also took drugs during World War II to fuel their anti-Semitic massacres.
Participation in the Pro-Hamas Encampment at Columbia
On April 19, 2024, Moseley was featured in a YouTube video uploaded by BreakThrough News leading chants at a protest held outside the encampment at Columbia. Moseley chanted [00:15:43]: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and [00:16:57]: “Resistance is justified when people are occupied.”“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free,” is a chant used [00:02:52] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel.
Among anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for terrorism and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence.
Moseley also chanted [00:16:58]: “There is only one solution, Intifada revolution,” and [00:18:18] “Intifada, Intifada, long live the Intifada” and “Intifada, Intifada, globalize the Intifada.”
The term “intifada” translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection” and carries the connotation of terrorist violence, including suicide bombings, hijackings, shootings and stabbings.
Also on April 19, 2024, Moseley was featured [slide 6, 00:00:01] in a video posted on Instagram by TPF leading chants outside the encampment at Columbia. The Instagram post said: “

The courageous students at Columbia University are strong into the second day of their Gaza Solidarity Encampment, demanding that the university cut all financial ties with companies and institutions that profit off of Israeli apartheid, the Zionist occupation, and ongoing genocide of Palestinians! While students continue to stand against Israeli genocide inside, hundreds of New Yorkers, students, workers, artists, teachers, and people from all walks of life are rallying at the gates of Columbia, standing with the brave students inside…#ShutItDown4Palestine.”On May 2, 2024, UofT Occupy for Palestine (Occupy UofT) activists “stormed down” fencing around UofT’s Kings College Circle and set up a pro-Hamas and pro-BDS encampment called the “People’s Circle for Palestine.” Protesters chanted [00:02:59] for “intifada” and celebrated “resistance” [00:02:45]. Both terms are calls for terrorism. Activists chanted [00:01:28; 00:02:21] for Israel’s destruction multiple times.
After the October 7, 2023 massacre of nearly 1,200 Israelis, the inverted red triangle -
- became a Hamas symbol. It appeared on large signs at the encampment and was featured in other encampment-related activism. Openly pro-Hamas marches began elsewhere in the city and ended at the encampment. In one incident, pro-Hamas activists punched a Jewish man, stole his Israeli flag and shouted anti-Semitic slurs.Protesters occupied [00:00:17] the area from May to July 2024, despite UofT warning they were trespassing. On July 3, 2024, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice issued an injunction at UofT’s request, requiring the encampment to be cleared. Occupy UofT dismantled the encampment and wrote a statement that ended: “Long live the intifada.”
